Path of exile started in 2013... 9 years without language audios which it should have because it has thousands of non-english speaking players.
I wonder if the owners of Path of exile are greedy for not wanting to spend $ that they earn well for so many years so as not to hire only a male and female person who lives in South America, the currency value of these countries is very low and they wouldn't spend so much so they do that job they just need to use the TeamViewer program to complete it and an editor of yours... I like that it has competition the path of exile is losing thousands of players and this language thing is a reason for many because a game that doesn't know the story and doesn't listen to the enemy or the character being used becomes boring for casual or advanced gamers. Surely several will contradict what I say but know that the one who is right is me, why? look at the active players in Path of exile and Lost Ark. How much does Path of Exile make? I would say that the english audio is extremely poor in lost ark to the point of being a negative not a positive (I mean, it's certainly amusing when a chick wielding two guns each about the size of her is told to 'put down the knife', but yeah, they would probably have been better off sticking to subtitles imo. Don't get me wrong here, I'm not saying other languages would be a bad idea for POE, just pointing out that translations, if it's not done properly, can really detract from a game. They're not always a guaranteed positive...

" Why emphasize audio so much, though? Plenty of people don't even listen to the English dialogue but prefer to play their own music instead. Items, monsters, quests/npc-dialogue etc is translated in the languages you see in the upper right corner, anyway. Character lines, boss fight dialogues and "wild" npcs like Ultimatum's trialmaster should appear as green text in the chat window. For YouTube, important videos like league reveals have subtitles. And I'm not sure how well paying some people in South America would work regarding recording audio dialogue for e.g. German or French, anyway. Should GGG do that eventually, it would make much more sense to hire native speakers instead. But, apart from the costs, given that they already had difficulties with the availability of the original voice actors for recording more stuff whenever their character got more lines (some NPCs were already entirely recast), I'm not sure it's worth the time, money and hassle. Exit, pursued by a Plummeting Ursa.

I appreciate PoE even more now that I've tried Lost Ark. That game is hilarious with everything from its cliché cleavage around every corner to its mobile phone gaming model. I couldn't tell if the purpose of the game was for me to stop and motorboat every NPC I came across or to actually kill something.

i'm curious why the op makes numerous threads about how awful PoE & GGG is but still playing the game in current league. Why not play lost ark or some other game that you actually enjoy?
