This map sustain with 4 socketed voidstones can't be intended.
From the reveal presentation, and the overall communication, I've had the impression that in the endgame we will be having 4 socketed voidstones, favouriting your favourite map, and having fun.
But as it stands now, map sustain is absolutely terrible with 4 voidstones, in comparison to 3. I assume this is because the 100% chance for maps to drop one tier higher doesn't apply anymore since all maps are t16, and we are losing all the t15s that would have been made t16, resulting in something like 1/3rd of the t16 map drops you'd have running 3 voidstones. This encourages players to not socket all 4, making it impossible for some people (like me) to have their favourite map as t16, while also having to socket and unsocket their 4th voidstones if they wanna have 4 sextants active. I am super juicing my maps, you can not see anything on my screen anymore except flashing lights, and I get one, maybe two t16 drops per map, excluding boss drops. I am sure this is not intended behaviour as it was communicated as the ultimate freedom of choosing your endgame, and not being able to sustain your favourite map takes away a lot of fun and is very frustrating, which is why I am posting this in the bug forum. I really hope you see this GGG, as most players seem to not have hit 4 voidstones yet. It's a huge deal not being able to consistently play your favourite layout.

voidstones are bugged. they actually reduce map drops in many cases. Since socketing my third voidstone I can't drop maps at all except through league mechanics. Went from easily sustaining my favorited map to literally zero drops after running a full tab of it. this is incredibly game breaking..

map sustain seems broken in general. no voidstones on my atlas.
my atlas passives for maps add up to around 100% chance for maps to drop 1 tier higher, jet i keep dropping lower tier maps. please fix GGG |

" Yes! Just the same here. I was oversustaining t16 burial chambers really hard with 2 voidstones and like 6x favour. Now with 4 voidstones and 10x favour it has become absolutely impossible. I really hope GGG acknowledges this and hopefully fixes it... |

This absolutely has to be bugged, ever since getting 4 voidstones saturday i have barely sustained and only gotten maps from bosses

You can only drop maps that are on you atlas, which means the more voidstones you have the lesser the droprange gets (preventing lower tier drops).
Like most things in PoE, every decision you make have upsides and downsides. |

lol you can't believe what you said to be true, every map is on the atlas and like the previous expansion with the conquerors every map should be dropping at the proper tier when the watchstones are socketed and they simply arent right now

" I noticed this today too. 100% chance (not 100% increased chance) should guarantee that a map will drop 1 tier higher. I ran a T13 and got a T7, 12, and 13 so more than enough evidence that it's not working as worded. |
