Is GGG morphing into Blizzard? Blizzard is bought by Microsoft??!

That's what ggg is doing.

And the 4 pointed aspects are in no way connected to the 1%. Come on.

You just need to stop thinking the entire game is supposed to be beat by everyone. That's a very f boring game. The new uber stuff introduced are not even as hard as 100% deli. Acts remake, nerf across the board.... You're talking about the level of game play a child is expected to get to with 2h playtime every now and then. If that's the base... Again, go for D3 it is really nice for people that need a shorter game.

I'm not saying ggg is perfect. There were quite a few balance changes made thinking of the top 1% that harmed people nowhere close. But they are doing a good job overall.

Bashing Expedition league is fucking weird. You clearly didn't play it because you were on the hate-train at the time.
It turned out to be one of the best leagues (particularly fun crafting): Great rewards, great boss fights, uber boss, crafting, etc.

Seriously, stop reading Reddit and form your own opinions instead. Echoing Reddit, as though anyone haven't seen those opinions, is useless. You don't come much closer to the definition of a sheep than this. Am I jumping to conclusions? No, because you're overlapping on too many areas here.

Honestly, why the fuck are you still playing this game? I hope you're dealing with some addiction, because that's about the only valid excuse to give a shit. Most of us just like playing the game because of its complexity. There are plenty of other good ARPGs out there, but they're obviously less shallow than a game that gets this much love.

Adding unwanted meaningless parasitic game mechanics into the game

BTW, if you're going to say something this broad, you really should give an example. This game has tons of mechanics and largely everything adds to the game, especially in an SSF environment (which you obviously aren't playing because sheep play SC trade).

Good talk.

At least upper 45-40% of playerbase should be able to beat everything that has exclusive drops. Anything less than that and its now an exclusive club where minority controls market and everyone who is not part of the club loses twice - not only do they not see the best content but the fruits of their labour are devalued because someone somewhere juices like crazy and get exponential returns. If returns were linear across all content it would be fine, but they aren`t. Or are you gonna argue with me that there is no stark difference in returns from running t14+ when compared to yellow content, in which you would have the filthy casuals locked because "You just need to stop thinking the entire game is supposed to be beat by everyone"?
POE2 should be the ruthless vision experience and POE1 should be the zoom power fantasy sandbox to capture both audiences.
I petition to return all the fun stuff that was removed or nerfed over the years back into POE1.

Suddenly, the game does have a bit more items than that lame leather belt you mentioned, and a bit more modes than softcore trade, mmkay. Something not being useful to you doesn't automatically mean not being useful to everyone else nor the fact you measure everything in "ex" means everyone else does.

Wasn't playing scourge, but expedition was still pretty useful in december events (where we could use it), and I like the content too, no timers, decent visual clarity for a change, great bosses, background story and npcs, good loot and more ways of obtaining it.

Still useful, but, I'll agree with you that expedition wasn't designed well for getting watered down. Mostly because of so many different currency types, when they're really abundant the distribution evens out but when they aren't it really bites you. If we had a single currency for everyone and the prices and amounts were adjusted accordingly, it would work much better, but what's the point of having Dannig then, except to open your logbooks.

But, in a world where we have games delayed for months or years because of this situation, GGG mostly stuck to their schedule so I can cut them some extra slack, it couldn't have been easy.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

Kinda agree.... don't play WoW, so can't comment on the comparison, but GGG created this amazing gaming platform, with a open Passive Tree and skill system that promotes creativity in player builds, but then continue to go against all that by forcing people to play in a specific way, that makes 90% of the platform useless.

You hit the nail on the head, there are 4 sets of currencies in expedition and since its no longer every map, just collecting enough to do something meaningful takes way too long, your just hoping for the log books to drop. And honestly they needed to make it all the same currency or remove a couple of the characters. Even if they did, the mechanic doesn't bring anything special the game should just remove it. But they probably wont cos "diablo 2 characters guys! We love those! right?"

Mmkay, YOU consider it useless, it's fine. Do you propose that Holy Chris should delete it just because YOU think so? Say i have the same opinion about ritual but i don't write essays about "OMG i can't stand this, prease delete!111", or say i'm more of a "puzzle league" guy but i don't complain about a million dull (to MY taste of course) mechanics that just spawn monsters like breach, abyss etcetera nor i cry "prease Chris add synthesis i liekd it it was sooo good!111". I can just run past the encounter i don't like, so can you or anybody else.

Technically, it would have been nice to have a group of checkboxes in options to select past league mechanics to not spawn, but currently there's none.

Oh, and on the side note, expedition is actually good for getting influenced bases and just well-rolled items and certain uniques and shit, especially if the player using it does not use that lame thing called "trade", as it foretold in Teh Holy Trade Manifesto™.
