Hi everyone!!!
*** This thread is answered *** Imo one of the many things that make Poe stand out is its gem system. Not only in how you play the game but also gems play a good part in the trade community too (alt quality, woke gems, legacy gems, and 21/23 or over max lvl/quality gems) So it wouldn't be surprise or over exaggerated to say that Poe 2 gem system is the biggest concern. Frankly the minute I saw it I was intrigued and interested in it but it's the most ambiguous thing ever of what we have seen in Poe 2 showcase till now. How linking work??? How socket colouring work??? What about items with socketed gems supported by X gem????? What about the squire (new thought but still) what about -3 sockets enchant??? What about freaking tabula????? I mean it's 1:30am can't remember the whole list but am I wrong about this???? Just remembered another big concern!! How will linking multiple auras to enlighten will work? Like from what I saw on replies here we will jeweller and chromatic orb skill gems but that mean only 1 aura per item (I know they showed us a utility gem that allow us to use multiple auras but does it add mana cost and is it possible to use enlighten on it or its just a 1 use gem? " Well we can start by informing you that there no longer is any "links" in PoE2. You now have to "6 socket" the skill gems to put in the support gems and you will still use Chromes for coloring...... |

I hope I make it through 2022 and have not knowing anything about PoE2 be the biggest problem I have.

" Bro damn have you read what I wrote?? Where did GGG mention anything in regard to mods like socketed gems are supported by X support gem???? Not even the chromatic and jeweller orbs is mentioned by them it's all speculations |

Why do you need this info right now? PoE 2 isn't coming out anytime soon. Changes to Gems and linking is a big deal and will probably be explained in detail when we actually get to that point. Any info you get right now even from the exilecon stream is subject to change that I wouldn't take to much into it.
Other then the fact that gems with be the point of where you link skills and not gear. That is the only thing to take from that at the moment. |

I hope that items that give gem supports will still be worth their value. Like my 35 frostbite 4 melee splash shako. Though I would not be surprised if this stuff goes to crap.
Did you try turning it off and on again?
