Can Path of Exile compete with Lost Ark and Elden Ring?

Will february be the worst month ever in PoE history?

I think it will never be as bad as 2021-07-23 again . The nerf league . Game is already playing a lot better again, so I honestly doubt LA will have any effect.

Only thing that could make PoE have a bad launch, is GGG .

I'll likely give Elden Ring a try... just for the story's sake. Big fan of Martin's work (that's he's bothered to finish).

LA being the biggest P2win mmo-arg around, I am surprise that the poe fanatics who enjoyed POE for being "honest" and not P2win would suddenly fell for it.

So maybe Poe audience is not what it seem to be and they actually enjoy p2win and cheating models?

First off i dont believe its P2win, but lets say it is, so i spend money here to buy junk, not much of a defference what my money gets me imo. But I won t pay 2 win...Im pretty sure i can win without paying! :)

I heard you can buy your way into playing few hours a league before it open to public for example. Imagine a poe league were streamers would play before regular players and have market advantage...( ho wait XD )joke aside we are talking about few hours/days of advantage in Lost ark (unless this have been scrapped).

Ya lets IMAGINE a league start where streamers got preference in the que, joining and playing before others. Oh wait this HAS happened lol..Ima play LA, but I WILL play PoE at times still or if i get tired of LA or what not.

All three games are somewhat different. Will some poe players play lost ark or elden ring? Yes. Will it be "death of poe blah blah" as some doomsayers like to preach? I highly doubt it.

Personally i would try the latter, but not the former, not a fan of korean mmos in general. Will i keep playing poe? Yes. The only thing that can piss me off is extremely buggy league, like heist was.

Either game will be fine, even tho i expect some players to now rather grab a LA pack instead of poe one.

I am still fascinated however, that ggg tailored a previous league launch around the release date of a single player rpg and now goes full ham with at least 2 highly anticipated games.

I hope they wont burn their fingers on this one.

honestly they didnt delay the game cause cyberpunk... this was a escape goat (not sure the term) or an excuse. Same thing now, they are not planning according to other games but to themselves.

As others said, the only "poe killer" is ggg rn.
For me, PoE does an awesome job of competing with things I'm not interested in.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

Same old song and dance. Poe always reigns supreme.

Yes, I remember a bunch of comments on this forum that talked about the POE crash from a year ago before the Cyberpunk release as well as the ones from September from Diablo remastered release ...
I think you got it a bit wrong because the correct question is: Can Lost Ark and Elden Ring compete with Path of Exile?
Depends on how you're defining "compete". Will PoE have close to the same numbers as LA or ER on release? Of course not. Will PoE numbers be affected? Most likely. Will PoE survive? Yes.
Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.
