I rly don't get why people need to play on the first day (beside streamers as its their job to do so). Like every single mmo/multiplayer game is bugged as hell on the first days. This "meta" of playing 2 first weeks then leaving is annoying and show how short attention span general public have this days. They jump to one "new shinny" to another "new shinny".
Like rly, u can still play mentioned games after poe league release OR u can play poe AFTER mentioned games release OR both games at the same time. Streamers are paid to be online first day, I'm not. So I'll try these games but for sure not on release as my past experiences were miserable |

For my time and money? Certainly. I won’t even touch lost ark. I’ll probably play Elden Ring as it’s been years since I tried a souls-like game, but its unlikely to pull me out of 3.17 if the league is good and it won’t have any effect on whether I buy a pack or return in 3.18.

LA being the biggest P2win mmo-arg around, I am surprise that the poe fanatics who enjoyed POE for being "honest" and not P2win would suddenly fell for it.
So maybe Poe audience is not what it seem to be and they actually enjoy p2win and cheating models? Forum pvp

" I heard you can buy your way into playing few hours a league before it open to public for example. Imagine a poe league were streamers would play before regular players and have market advantage...( ho wait XD )joke aside we are talking about few hours/days of advantage in Lost ark (unless this have been scrapped). Thought about it when the news came around... and for me I think I'll skip 3.17.
I was pretty hyped for a january release, but now I think I'll play Lost Ark until Elden Ring releases. The release week in MMOs is where most fun is imo. The world feels alive, players in every zone leveling and u can discover the game together with everyone else. (sure LA is much more known than other MMOs in the past) So starting LA 2-4 weeks late would just feel aweful, the same as starting late into a PoE economy... PoE will still be the same in 3.18, so I can experience the new stuff there aswell. |
