Quality of trading on this website is FAIL

There's a couple problems with the forums for trading.

1. If you're on the forums, you're not in the game. So by default trading gets you out of the game which is a real problem. Especially for people who cannot alt tab because it crashes.

2. Posts disappear in minutes getting buried multiple pages deep and that leads to people just ignoring their thread once it drops.

3. Searching for items is the worst experience possible. Even that poe explorer site's interface is awful if you resort to using third party sites to help navigate items.

4. There's no definitive guide lines for trading. Some people list buy prices only. Most people would assume that the price they are selling for is the buy out price. Other people assume it's some type of auction where that's a buy out but the seller will take lower "bids".

Diablo 2 had really cool auction-style sites (not d2jsp). I remember some red site that a ton of people used to trade items back in the day. I think poe would benefit greatly from this. It's something I could make but I don't know if it's worth investing the time in because the poe devs have stated they have some ideas for trading and I'm confident anything they come up with will be better than what most people can do, especially if they can interact directly in the game and then it's no contest.

I posted this before, but for right now, the trade forums need heavy player moderation and enforced rules.

1. Being able to put up items and not honor bids is kinda ridiculous. Lines like "if I don't like the bids I'll just keep the item".. etc.
2. Crap items that no one wants/needs and are bumped for a week straight.
3. Overpriced items that the OP will claim is 'worth' it despite having no bids or low bids.
4. Flat out false advertisement with tags like GG and Godly.

The list goes on. Trading would be a lot better with rules that MUST be followed.

Here's the thing..who gets to decide these arbitrary rules on what items are good and godly and what is crap? To be honest there is literally no way of finding out what's good and or bad short of posting each item to the forums for others to critique. One mans trash is usually another mans treasure.. However there definitely needs to be a batter way to trade things..

Realise.

Realise.

Realise.

Realise.

Can't believe that you're getting pissy over a legitimate, alternate spelling that's just as widely accepted worldwide as your American 'Z' variations.

Realize is actually created from diction 200 years before America was even born. Ask Google. Regardless realise is on the way out and realize is preferred now. I can't believe you would be so quick to bash America when its obviously better than wherever you are from.

Yet you can't even spell its properly.....

Personally, I'm pretty well done with PoE at this point. I had fun since OB came out but I've started to get a bit more bored recently, paired with the fact I'm having the worst time of my life trying to trade I think I'm packing it in.

What's happened to me countless times, literally countless, is bidding on an item in someone's thread for reasonable amounts, waiting a while then seeing the seller say some shit like "sold in game". I'm not bidding joke amounts, often times within reach of their buyout but I usually can't afford to splurge on a buyout. Then without warning, BAM, sold ingame, didn't bother to tell you even though you're highest bid.

The final straw just happened where I bid about 4 exalt worth on a chest the guy wanted 5.5 for. He said selling in 1 hour at most. 1.5 hours later the thread title just says Sold. To who? Where? For what? Simple courtesy is completely lost in a game like this where 90% of the players have the mentality of "F#%K you got mine"

A more user friendly and cooler looking website trading interface will come in the near future.
And I guess maybe possibly an official moderation support, may be put into place too.

That's the reason why i don't buy items in the forum anymore, if the user left his IGN then i offer in game, trying to bid here is nearly useless

Regarding 1 and 3, part of the reason this happens is because many buyers are incredibly cheap. They are very aware of what the value is but constantly lowball with ridiculously low bids, resulting in auctions dragging on longer than they should. Fuck lowballers.

my bid last for 7hours tell me if I win k? XD
