Can't believe that you're getting pissy over a legitimate, alternate spelling that's just as widely accepted worldwide as your American 'Z' variations.

This is awesome <3

Keep it up.

[Warning: Major nitpick incoming]

The -ize spelling is actually older than the -ise spelling, since the suffix originally came from Latin -izare <- Greek -ιζειν(-izein). English picked up the French version -iser instead of the z spelling. Starting from the late 16th century, OED, Encyclopaedia Britannica, etc. tried to get people to switch to the z spelling because it was closer to the original Latin/Greek, but this was not successful in Britain and people kept using -ise. In America, Noah Webster also supported using -ize, so the American spelling ended up being -ize.

So really, you should be saying: "Stop getting with the times! Go back to the original Greco-Roman spelling and spell realize with a z"

Realize is actually created from diction 200 years before America was even born. Ask Google. Regardless realise is on the way out and realize is preferred now. I can't believe you would be so quick to bash America when its obviously better than wherever you are from.

I don't mind meh items being on trading forums. They're annoying in trade chat when ppl spam their crap items for gcp and exalts. But imo worst threads are the ones that have good items but are obviously overpriced. Poor guy in trading forums is trying to sell a mirror for a min bid of 52 ex.. for weeks. Wonder when he'll realize...
I posted this before, but for right now, the trade forums need heavy player moderation and enforced rules.

1. Being able to put up items and not honor bids is kinda ridiculous. Lines like "if I don't like the bids I'll just keep the item".. etc.
2. Crap items that no one wants/needs and are bumped for a week straight.
3. Overpriced items that the OP will claim is 'worth' it despite having no bids or low bids.
4. Flat out false advertisement with tags like GG and Godly.

The list goes on. Trading would be a lot better with rules that MUST be followed.
Ya, most of the difference between American and British spelling really just comes down to the fact that both countries only started to standardise their spelling after America separated, so both spellings are actually about equally old.

Really, just use whichever spelling you feel like. I personally prefer whichever spelling is closer to French (usually British spelling), because I feel like French spelling has a smoother and less harsh feeling to it (s instead of z, for example).

Of course, sometimes I forget and end up using the American spelling. But at least where I live (Canada), it's quite common and acceptable to use both American and British spelling, even in the same sentence!
