Are they gonna fix all the lag and freezijng in scourge.

I think it's RNG.
I've had my share of lag, stuttering and freezes in other leagues.
Scourge, however, doesn't lag (unless it's network related, of course), stutter or freeze. Can't even remember crashes. My computer might also be considered lower end by now (8 core 1. gen Ryzen, 16GB RAM, Geforce 1050 with 3GB).
In Ultimatum I remember I often mashed keys when the FPS dropped to single digits and when the smoke cleared see if I survived or had to restart in town. Same in Ritual.

If people are serious about having them fixing "lag and freezijing" they need to submit network information to support. It's impossible for them to keep track of all the network traffic and sift out those that are having trouble. Send them a route trace. You don't even need to understand what you're sending to them. Just do it. They're working on adding South African support, so they're working on the network to some degree. Help them out by letting them know specifically what is happening. Just bitching about the problem isn't helping.

It isn't network related, it's CPU spikes when loading assets from disk.
They are probably pushing boundaries a lot, and then adjusting after enough data is recovered and analyzed. Maybe scourge optimization is perplexing them a bit.

Or,

Maybe they are just evil though and cackle like hyenas every time someone dies to lag.😜
Then it isn't lag and people should stop refering to it that way. If it's a disk problem, or a CPU problem, maybe it's time to upgrade your rig.

[Removed By Support]

Not going to spend another 1.5k on upgrade just because some lazy bum can't code properly.

GGG just remove bugged assets from the game - problem solved. I don't care at all what mobs I encounter in Act 7, delete vaal arsonists and put some models instead that don't reload themselves from the disk every 5 seconds. (And do this for all bugged mobs.)

And seriously, give us a choice to preload all assets in the area, at least temporarily, while you fixing things.

We talk about different problem here.

I know, hehe, just listed some steps i made to run it more or less smooth on that old kajigger of mine, maybe some of these will help OP.

But generally yes, the cpu/disk subsystem of poe is kinda meh - i tested it on variety of hardware over these years, and even modern cpus and pciex8 ssd drives won't make it perfect if you ask me. If we're lucky, some major overhaul can happen with 4.0 aka "poe2", but i won't place any bets, and it definitely ain't gonna happen with current 3.xx branch.

You have network lag and you have hardware lag. Both are often being referred to as "lag", and can often cause similar issues by an untrained eye.

PoE is notoriously CPU-heavy, and even the highest of mid-end CPU's can cause issues, especially if the timings on your RAM is low. At least that's what I've noticed when I troubleshot my old rig. This is mostly noticed when you juice your maps a lot.
Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.
You need a high end video card with larger vram ...like gtx 1660 or better for this game.

I just upgraded and made world of difference.

The miners and covid have videocards way over retail tho. I paid cose to $1000 for 3060ti...a mid range card which should cost $400 pre covid.:(

No matter how heavy the load on the CPU it shouldn't FREEZE the game. For example even if you do video editing or rebuild some database you still can move mouse cursor on screen. Well in PoE you can't. Those micro-freezes are extremely frustrating. The more so when they happen in nearly empty areas.

I think there must be a way to fix 3-d engine so that it won't drop FPS to 0 when loading assets from disk.
