First time fighting Sirus
Never fought him before, I don't know what it would be considered I am awakener lv2?
Either way, went in blind. This. Is such a bullfuckingshit fight if I have ever seen one. He is immune 95% of the time. What the fuck. Then, when he actually descends from the sky to be attacked, he immediately teleports off screen to shoot me. When I flame dash over he moves again.. Then is in the sky. AGAIN! What the hell man? Then these "dead zones" on the ground that persist throughout the fight. Hell, even before the fight. Their "hit boxes" extends another 25% from their visuals??? I am out in the open trying to figure out why I am taking damaage, and apparently I was "too close" to one of the orbs?? I literally had to run through them to start the fight.. there was no other opening!! Then after he detonates an area, he moves the "arena"? The first 4 portals was learning the fight. I got him to around 25%... then a new "phase" where he transforms himself? Needless to say, I lost all that time and effort to "spawn" him. Not that I was even trying. It just happened. God, who made this terrible fight? Half the time I am sitting under him to not be attacked. The rest I am chasing him to try to hit him 1x, and avoiding having the orbs on screen because apparently that is close enough to kill me! What got me in the end was the 3 or was it 4? Ring maze you need to escape. Is t here any logic on their exits, is it static or another rng? I couldn't effectively flame dash and my quicksilver was empty. So, I didnt make it out in time. Man... Once again, dumb ass fight. Last edited by Mabuz#5315 on Nov 14, 2021, 8:41:00 AM Last bumped on Nov 16, 2021, 6:41:07 PM

" Yep. Worst fight in the history of ARPG's. While he becomes pretty manageable when you learn the fight, the fight itself is totally BS - and as intuitive as the Dutch language. When a boss fight is 95% running around and 5% fighting, there's something wrong. In addition, he's STILL bugged in some cases. Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.

I just couldn't do damage to the fucker. I am a Seismic Trapper, so I have damage.
That damage is meaningless if he teleports away from the traps before they even go off! It was starting to piss me off. I actually thought I'd kill him near the end, then I died to the stupid maze 2 or 3 times! Like, brah. My screen is so dark I can barely see the exit so I was hugging the wall hoping to get out. I don't know why my light radius is so bad in these maps. Scourge I can barely see ground clutter, and Sirus fight has the same shading.. |

I've ignored him from the time he was included. Just not designed to be done by me. I'm fine with that. They have to include stupid stuff like that for the players who overpower the game so that they can feel like they accomplished something. More power to them.

he comes down from the air four times total during the fight assuming you do not mess up.
He makes that circle on the ground the first three times he comes down, if you leave the circle without doing enough damage he will rise back up and you'll have to lure him down again. yeah the fight is ass but one attempt isn't going to give you enough experience to know what to do. |

New Topic, New Thread. Otherwise prior ones get ignored or derailed.
That is what I was taught being on the internet! |

Yeah its a stupid fight. you probably just need more move speed or faster uptime on your dash. needs very high mobility in these fights for it to not feel like trash
bring back the state of the game in 1.3 vaults of atziri patch

" Why? there are tons of videos and guides on this fight. ~ Please separate the PoE1 and PoE2 forums.

You dont even need movespeed in the fight. Flamedash is gonna get you where you need to go especially once you learn how to track him.
I actually like the Sirus fight too (bugs notwithstanding those needed to be fixed leagues ago). Its a difficult fight to be sure but once you understand the mechanics it feels rewarding to beat him deathless over and over. I will say it would be nice if there was some sort of system to practice boss fights repeatedly since fighting a boss once in this game takes a bit of time to just get to the fight. |

" Because... fun? I will experience it first, and see if I can learn it myself. Then I will look at a guide to see how close I got to the strat. When everything is handed to you, where is the fun? |
