Haven't felt this powerless in endgame in forever.
" Yeah i agree on this. Its less rippy than some previous leagues. The biggest issue is probably that he gets surrounded quickly after entering nightmare. Once you survive that initial part you will be fine. |

This league if you don't get max rez + chaos rez, 75% phys mitigation spell supersion , max block and 100% ailment immunity you cannot do anything...It's Chris Vision of ballony.

"1 Or you can get a lot of dmg. I mean, I'm rocking zero defenses, -24 chaos res and I'm having excellent time in the league. | |
I have 130% spell supp, 75% res (light 48% but will change it), 80% phs red. And die sometimes by 1 hit, but only when i have 150+ scourge stack. 3,5k hp, so if i just get some chaos res and 1k hp more i think its gonna be better.
I know how you feel. because sometimes I die by 1 white scourge mob hit but survive when I get hit from rare mob (same stack of scourge)... Don't know why, maybe because rare use spell (and I have suppression) and white use attack. |

I have full rez some chaos rez for now will balance later, 75% flask damage reduction, 4900 life + about 1k es with ghost shrouds , and sometimes I get hit by a train of damage...
I also hate that everyone is looking for spell suppression like it's the second coming of Jesus. They always do this kind of thing, nerf everything, and push other bullshit mechanics that everyone wants... I don't get it, it's easyer to balance like this or ? I played a spidermancer before this trapper and my god, if you don't have spell surpresion you feel like a wet noodle. Never invite Vorana, Last To Fall at a beer party.

" Why would you put that much into Spell Suppression only to keep Life that low and then get 1 shot by attacks? Attacks kill far more often than spells. |

" Block is still the defensive king, if you don't get Glancing Blows. The math mitigates about 25% more damage, and affects attacks as well. I think that's kind of the point though: People were building pure EHP to mitigate damage, and ignoring Armour, Block, Dodge, Eva, etc. Instaphase builds pretty much revolved around no defense builds that just had life. Now they have to consider at least mitigating some of the hits, which brings the 10 mil dps down to 2.5-5 mil. Imo, that's fair. However, we still have a lot of players who just feel like doing 10 mil dps is the way to win, and they are pretty vocal about being 1 shot when they don't behave like they want to win. |

" Never mind the fact I already have close to a 19 Ex build that 1 shots all content but bosses, never dies. After I put on my Crest of Desire I have to reconsider some of my resist, but the damage has over sextupled, and now I chain 7 times. I'm working on a ring that has +3 Socketed and Level 22 Herald of Thunder on it as well (the +3 can actually boost a support gem on the HoT like Awakened Added Lightning Damage). I want to give it added Lightning Damage vs Shocked, Lightning Damage (either through Shaper or through Betrayal crafting), a resist and Life. If you look at my Circle it's damn near godly for Herald/TS. I should look for one with buff effect/lightning damage though (I don't really need the reservation redux) Atm I'm also rolling some uber flasks that work perfectly with a Block build: There's a new "Gain Charges when you are Hit" mod that gains significant charges depending on the tier; Tier 1 is 8 Charges per hit. Tier 2 is 6. I'm planning on 4 flasks to be T1 with the following secondaries: T1 Spell Vamp on Flask Effect T1 Armour T1 Attack Speed T1 Movement Speed My build blocks about 90 attacks a second in large wave play, 30-40 Spells per second, and 3 in 4 during bosses. In other words, 8 charges per hit literally keeps me at perma flasks without a Magebind, especially if I roll them to activate on blocking. Bleed is best on a life/hybrid flask, so I have a 14 sec flask for that. HoT is a fun addition, because not only does it buff TS, it also picks up strays once it has an activated Thunder cloud. Taunting is fun. Atm, the Tempest shield at Max Charges and Innvervate does about 30k per hit (Chaining 7 times, which can go back and hit the previous targets) Furthermore, I apply about -84% Lightning Res to all opponents, so that has the potential to increase my damage by about 75% to about 53k damage. When the helm is done, it will chain TWELVE times. If 90 mobs hit me at once, that's about 65 activations of a skill that chains 12 times, or 780 Hits. Based on 90 mobs, that's 8.7 hits per mob, or about 459K per target. I also have profane Bloom, which detonates my targets. Basically.... the map clear is insane, but it's less useful for bosses. That's why I probably wont farm Sirus more than necessary, or will come up with a 6L for chest that works with the build that has good single target damage. (For example, I could just put my curses in my Poet and run a full damage Barrage Power Siphon 6L and do pretty well with the same gems, while still enjoying all my my block and sustain). But hey. What do I know lmfao. Last edited by rekikyo#7718 on Nov 7, 2021, 12:04:00 AM

" So your build does 53k dps to bosses... and in an unrealistic ideal scenario where 90 mobs hit you, you do 450k dps... wow. What do you know? |

" I know how to have fun soley running a defensive skill as an offensive skill. Much more fun than a self proclaimed "victim" of nerfs who claims to only have played 42 hours but has 56 Ex from spending a whole lot MORE time flipping on the trade page who hides his character, which is a standard farming Glad soley for Heist botting. Also, that's 53k per hit from one skill. I have at least 3 skills :) |
