Haven't felt this powerless in endgame in forever.

[Removed by Support] You're not even putting in enough effort to cap resists, something you can do by picking up gear off the ground and using basic bench crafts. [Removed by Support]

Honestly, posts like this should just be taken down. You're not even putting in enough effort to cap resists, something you can do by picking up gear off the ground and using basic bench crafts. You're here to cry that you can't roll through a game you literally aren't trying at. Get lost.

1. I'm capped on one, 4% off another, and 11% off the third.
2. I'm in a T3 map being killed instantly.
3. I have characters capable of T16 maps. This is a Scourge issue thread.

As a fast fix i would recommend a leveled Decoy Totem and placing it near you before switching into nightmare.

Also think about getting Vaal Detonate Dead to kill of strugglers or Vaal Ica Nova to chill Freeze any scourge monsters as soon you enter the Nightmare. Collect souls and only use it when switching into nightmare.

Other than that.
You're in the left side of the tree and i would recommend getting more max resistances, reduced shock effect, more hitpoints, maybe a little spell block if you can squeeze in tempest shield (gives shock immunity as well).

But in any case i would avoid indoor maps with your current main skill that has delayed damage.
Choose outdoor maps so you can at least avoid scourge monsters before your totems start to pop off.
Masterpiece of 3.16 lore
"A mysterious figure appears out of nowhere, trying to escape from something you can't see. She hands you a rusty-looking device called the Blood Crucible and urges you to implant it into your body."

Only usable with Ethanol Flasks

Scourge mobs are probably 20% stronger than vanilla mobs and the rares are like 40%, combined with the more damage stacks they will quickly mimic rares from higher maps, it honestly scales up far too fast but GGG is really trying to throw a bone to the 2 players that run out of stuff to do every league because their idea of self challenge is RMT'ing a meta build and using all 6 portals.

You can make builds that will routinely survive in 100 stacks though but its expensive and takes planning, defenses are substantially buffed this league and at least for me are the exciting thing to build towards right now as offense feels so stunted.

If you want a quick fix put determination on and only shift when vaal molten shell is on which tends to cooincide with the bar fairly nicely.

This is all really good advice, thank you.

Museum seems to be a map I'll avoid. I do have a totem mastery that I'm changing to taunt enemies when I put totems down.

As for spell block and shock immunity, will need to investigate.

I usually have 4k HP up until late yellow maps, but I have been trying to get more this time around.

Thanks again.

Yeah I can't help but be a bit cynical about how they're balancing the league.

Molten Shell makes sense. I can survive 100 stacks if I'm not in the middle of 40 mobs when I transfer, but the mystery of what'll be there is just too much at times.

Determination, eh? Someone else mentioned defensive flasks. I have a CR one, but I think a granite flask would be good since I can only have one aura (blood magic from my new shield and all.)

Thanks. :)
I mean to give you an idea of the difference between what players expect and what some of us go for I just made a lancing steel deadeye for my friend and its got 7k life, 78 all res, 33k armour, 50/50 block/spell block and 100% spell suppression.

If you want to you can be very tanky this league i'd advise just learning some of the approaches and obviously be willing to trade to buy tat that fits your requirements - if SSF learn how to optimise atlas strats to create those items and you'll go much further than currently.

I wouldn't touch high tier scourge with that build anyway though tbh, if we were still in ritual league maybe, but blasting 100+ stacks in low tier its solid enough.

I'm expecting nerfs next league already or we are gonna get new endgame thats tuned to the new values which will feel like absolute shit.
It's also brave to play a channelling skill in PoE these days ! I did that in ultimatum league and I had to reroll if I wanted to progress. Scourge has the same density and danger, maybe even worse cause you can't predict what will be there on the other side.

Yeah league mechanics and channelling skills.

Remember Synth league where they introduced Divine Ire.
A rush league with a standing still skill, made perfectly sense.

I would say drop Anger and slot in Determination, then cap your res. The difference between 64% res and 75% res is about 50% more damage taken. It has always been super important to cap res by the time you hit even t1 maps.

Purity of Elements grants immunity to all elemental ailments, it's a pretty nice aura to run if you can manage it and don't have another source of immunity.
