And output is awfull. Yes, you can get map with good mods that generate currency, scarrabs and other. But get to tier10 scorging is too long and modifications always random. Game just suck your time for nothing too frequently.

About scourget items I even don't want to talk. This entire mechanic is late game addon for someone who already have nearly perfect item and want to gamble for something more... and loose with 99.9% probability. But last 0.1% is... you know, all this twitch reactions about POG ITEMS. So stupid. More stupidly that this presented to us as normal league.

This league is challenging players’ understanding of what mapping progress means. The league mechanic is super rewarding both in regular maps and in scourged maps. Scourged maps easily understood with all the +x to premium currency/fragment, but even the regular maps drop tons of uniques and higher quality currencies via MF, and divination cards or bases from the quantity. Indeed, you just have to meet the minimum gear/build requirement necessary to stack the buff up to 100+ at the very least. But it doesn’t have to be in red maps. If you can do T16’s unjuiced, surely you can do T1-5 juiced either in the form of a scourged map or regular map pumping quantity and MF.

The point is, people who traditionally never farm any content below T14’s are suddenly doing white maps.

The 1% get that... All the rest of us gets... nothing...

Scourged items are completely useless, so lets just leave those out at the moment. At most they're a gambling mechanic for the 0.0001%.

You only get those extra rewards if you can survive and kill/move extremely fast. The overwhelming part of the player base can't do that, so the league mechanic becomes completely useless for them.
Every time GGG implement any kind of timer/arena mechanics in their league content, it completely screws over anyone but the 1%'ers. Expeditions was perfect because it had none of those.

I like by and large all the other changes in 3.15 and 3.16. GGG did a great job there, but the 3.16 league mechinic is a complete failure...

I haven't seen anything spectacular but my sense is that the rewards kick in really late in maps once you unlock a bunch of bonuses and multiple slots. The league is a lot different in this regard from most others, especially for early leveling which the league does not help with at all. When you have crap gear to begin with no one wants -res this or - gloabal defense that. However the mechanic itself of shifting into nightmare and back, the concept of it and the visuals is incredible. The experience feels really short lived and I like the increasing danger throughout the map but the risk does not seem improve any of the rewards - I feel. All it’s doing is just making it more difficult to look for bosses as they seem to be the only thing that could drop something interesting. I also find myself skipping the scourged maps - for now - since I am still after XP, and the risk of death is pretty darn high with some of those mods stacked on top of growing damage stacks. Maybe I will enjoy running stupid mods when I no longer care or get annoyed by death but hell that is a pretty long time to wait for that fun to begin.

Scourge is good. You dont need to level your Maps until Scourge Tier 10. If you do so, it is your fault when you are not able to finish it. You also dont need to use a T16 Map to make it Scourge T10. But the greed is always higher then sanity! Rewards are like all other things in PoE, just random. So are the Mods you get in the scourged maps. Feel free to leave this league if you dislike it. But stop telling us how bad Scourge is. Ritual was really bad. Scourge is like heaven compared to that crap.

But I have to agree that the scourge items which are dropping are all crap. Those need to drop PERFECT to be useful PLUS the corrupted scourged mods need to be useful. Chances are like zero that this is gonna happen. Me personally just ignoring those drops. The item corruption in the blood crudible is also more a RNG lotto like everywhere else in the game. Take it or leave it. I just level my maps to Scourge T10 there. Items only if if its 5L6S to make it 6l and get an divine orb from it. Take what you need and ignore the rest. PoE has more then this to offer. Just my opinion. Sorry if somebody is offended by this.
I am not talking about rewards, the league mechanic itself is terrible, an ongoing back and forth with my eyes always on the blood level so I don´t miss something. For me this kills the game flow.

Also the visibility of enemies is bad most of the time.


And this after my favourite league mechanic so far, Expedition. So hopefully next league will be good again and Scourge never goes core.

So... First you tell others they can't tell GGG that a league is 'bad'... and then you immediately tell others that a league is bad. Double standards much?

The OP, and the rest of us, are entirely justified in telling GGG that Scourge is a bad league seen from our perspective. We can of.c. not talk for anyone but ourselves, but YOU are not the person decides whether we should stop saying it as you are not the one with our experience of the league. You can speak for yourself about the league, but telling others to shut up is none of your business.

People who dislike Scourge will seek the forum more easy and tell GGG how bad it is, then somebody who likes Scourge. Just because I am the only one who defends Scourge in this thread doesnt mean, I am the only one who likes scourge. The reason I visit the forum today had nothing to do with scourge. But after spotting this thread and reading all those postings it made me throw my 50 cents into it. Because it feels like a shitstorm just because they dont get enough rewards out of it. The funny thing is, in harvest it was the opposite. That was tooo much rewarding. But it had the same shitstorm in forum. Harvest was exact the thing what PoE needed. But thanks to the shitstorm, they made hardnerfs. As a protest I did not played PoE much the past year.
