It's abused no solution given ... no temporary stash to fill their bug frankly it's not serious on your part .... the solution would be that our stash 3.15 map becomes remove only and that you give us a new stash 3.16 that would replace the old to convert our map and add the new map that accumulates without being able to file

Sincerely

Well GGG have acknowledge this issue now with the 3.16 release (map convert worked "ok'ish" before 3.16 release) and promised a solution before the lunch of 3.17.
So new solution is that "overflow maps will be converted but placed in remove-only stash tabs".

Should this have been done with the 3.16 release ?? 100% agree.
However a solution is coming so calling this abuse is a bit hard......
Of course it's abused we will have to wait 4 months to have the fix, my map accumulate in my stash and the player solutions are not functional if at least they published an official tip no nothing...

Since a League is released every 3 months, then no you don't have to wait 4 months......

But there is a tip on how to convert it manually. I used it and got all my maps converted. It took me some time but it can be done.
Again you only have this problem in standard, so if you play L it's a non issue.

Can you please give me your tip?
Same issue here!
Message me in game @SleepyHarvester
I know this suggestion seems like heresy, but in GGG place, I would rid of maps as items entirely.

Here is the concept:

1) All unique maps and support fragments can be left as they currently are, they are few enough to be manageable via their respective tabs.

2) For all non-unique maps, players could access the location by selecting it on the Atlas World Map, and applying the alt/alch/scour currency directly there, to affect the modifiers on the "next opening/generating" for that map (since only one can be activated at a time anyway). Different maps can have different base activation cost.

3) New maps can be discovered and unlocked for the first time by using their neighborhood links. When a player completes a map, one of its neighbors becomes available.

4) Tiers (1-16) of can be set at the time of opening, based only on the watchstones + random 1-2 bonus tiers from the amount of bonus objectives completed.

5) As for farming, instead of finding maps, players could find one type of currency (instead of 16 * someBigNumber separate item types as now), like "Dreamworld fragments" or whatever, that would grant additional activation of map node on the Atlas screen (any currently unlocked node, not only specific maps as now). Again, different maps can have different base activation cost.

6) Instead of farming new maps with pre-rolled modifiers, an option can be added on atlas screen UI to spend like 3 map activations to open a "magic map version" without using currency, 5 map activations for "rare map version" and so on.

7) After base map and its "item" modifiers are selected, player proceeds to add atlas crafts and support fragments as usual.

8) All the current mechanics related to various map-finding bonuses can be converted to "increased chance of receiving a Dreamworld fragment", etc.

Pros:
- reduced map selection time, as players won't need to mess with their map stash tabs
- Atlas Screen can become more useful and immersive, with players actually looking at what general direction they are going on the global map.
- Less technical hassle of storing/upgrading hundreds of thousands of map items on the devs side

Cons:
- the effort needed to implement all this:)

I don't understand why this isn't considered a severe bug. This is not just a minor inconvenience.

Agree!
Is there any way to get the money back for the not working map stash tab?
I payed for a product that is not working as intended, I'm thinking.

Any kind of chargeback (if you try that) will get your account perma banned for life, so think about that.

If you feel that you have bought a product that doesn't work, then first step is to "formaly" contact the company you bought it from.
If you don't have any luck here, then next step is "consumer protection".
