Gladiator actually got WTF buffed giga hard and almost everyone else got massively pwned
I played very little last league, but gladiator was already very strong and armore was feeling it was doing something at 25K, so I guess at the quivalent on 50K, if you have enough health and fortify very little things can actually insta you.
Since we're talking about Spell Block, and I cited the example of Eradicator, I thought it was clear that a boss that doesn't have phases and spell hits was out of context.
I would like to see Eradicator, breachlords and their invitations.
Not only is the ascendancy even stronger than before but also the passive tree is way too favorable for Duelist, on a level that you seriously want to consider picking it for Scion for just it's starting position.
Gladiator
- Gladiator damage buffed by 30%
- Gladiator's standard path has cannot be stunned, corrupted blood immunity & +3% max all res for a total of 6 points.
- Violent Retaliation is probably the biggest DPS % increase node in the whole game at 30 - 50% more damage depending on the enemy.
- 85% block and ~40% spell block is better than 75% block and 75% spell block because there are 20x more attacks thrown at you than spells.
- Gladiator gets almost max effective armour for a nominal investment while armour is being buffed as defence by almost a double.
- 3 point pathing + set Steelskin on left click for 1 gem slot.
Only builds which could compete previously
- Traps damage nerfed by 50%
- Minions early game nerfed by 50%
- Aura stackers don't exist
- EE & EO trolled
- Clusters are less effective compared to passive tree
- Everyone who used dodge before( half of the builds) lost ~ 20% of their total defenses which need to be compensated for
I was really hoping to not go Gladiator again but goddamn they just keep buffing him.
Scourge is THE LEAGUE for most of all Gladiators, rest of the duelists and Marauders, both shield and 2H.
Wanders & poison might also be very good now.
Armour Mastery is not Gladiator Specific, so that's not a buff to Gladiator.
Now this is interesting. Any idea where the data is from? Is it reliable?

Yap, Gladiator is going to be tankier than ever and Gladiator has been one of the classes which could do highest tier content at 5K health already this patch.

Neither aren't half of the other things listed but Gladiators can make most use of it and will not have to go out of their way to get these stats.
A Witch is not going to path to Adamant without trashing their build.
Well saying the Gladiator got WTF buff is total BS. Any Marauder or Duelist can take advantage of those nodes just the same without going out of their way. Your entire "subject or headline" is even close to being fair, honest, or even true.

Well, before you go saying builds got Giga buffed, maybe you should look at the PoB? From what it looks like, you can only pick one of the 5 things listed.
In other words, you only get one of the 5 per mastery node. For example, if you pick Impale mastery you get to choose one out of the 5 options, (100% increase on Dread Banner reservation for example). So you don't get all 5 at once, you have to take multiple "Impale Mastery nodes" and each time you select the mastery you can choose another one of the 5, such as (20% Increase Effect of Impales you inflict on non-impaled enemies). So you would need 5 Mastery nodes to get all 5 of those effects. How many points do you have and how many are you going to pull from elsewhere to get those masteries?
