Mediocre at best... does it even work with the new Curse removal effect (of Warding Suffix) on Flasks? "Removes Curses on use" is the wording, so I'm not sure, probably not. I just don't see how this Belt is even worth running in 90% of builds. If it worked on Uniques, sure then it would be kind of nutty, but it doesn't sooo? This is yet another item that shows how out of touch the developers are with the player base of the game. Chris Wilson went as far as to say that, "The new Mageblood belt is one of the most powerful Unique items to ever exist in Path of Exile" and "it will be exceptionally rare"... For long boss fights, sure this belt seems pretty good, but for everything else it just promotes lazier game play. People won't even have to use their Flasks anymore.

Ok there are people on Reddit saying it's worth 500ex+ to mirrors and I just had to laugh. It's a super fun and cool item but come on.
It's in the core drop pool so the worst case scenario it competes at the T0 slot with HH for ancient orbing. Best case scenario it doesn't compete with HH and your ancient orbs are now more valuable. Too bad the rate they appear dropped a few leagues ago.... |

Will be nerfed soon. Because is way batter than HH. You can use it on Bosses and that huge advantage over HH. Everybody can wipe out crap mobs. Bosses are problem.

It will be very hard to find so unless you are nolifing trade league don't expect to get your hands on it :) I believe such items are a good thing for the game. Not because it is something I expect to ever have but because it has a possibility to drop. Much like a mirror. Huge YAY moment if you find them. Not something you make a build around until you have it(unless nolife).
I want more things like this added to the game. Heck I even want them to add them unannounced and come as a surprise (yes, I know ppl will datamine but they won't know drop chances etc). |
