Aura bot vs Aura stacker
I think self aura builds cost a lot... and aura bot doesnt. That why that game kill casual players.

Hopefully we finally see balance for aura stackers and aura bots so that non aura effect stacking players can benefit from auras without the giga aura effect stack juicers break the game. Its about time!

They are the same thing the difference is price, stackers just invested enough that they have build leeway to take advantage of the OP themselves.

Are auras also a "problem" in solo play, or is that only for group play?
I've always used an aura or two on each of my characters because I had excess mana floating around, and thought that was like the normal thing to do. Or does investing in certain items increase the number, or strength of auras to a stupid level even for solo play? |

1. Aurastackers are fine at the moment. They received significant nerfs over the last few patches which has completely gutted them in terms of both damage and defenses. Almost every other build in the game will outperform an aurastacker, even on a fraction of the budget until you are several mirrors deep.
2. I'm not opposed to a nerf to aurabots, but I don't see why people care so much about it. First, there is no immediate impact to solo players (including me)...its not going to change my experience at all. Second, I don't know what kind of nerfs would be required to actually impact duos/groups, they will still delete all content. If the nerfs are really heavy handed, then these guys will just resort to farming lower tier maps, playing solo, or playing solo and having a dedicated trader and probably end up in the same spot overall. Rich players will get rich every league. |
