Adding A Player Trade Score To Trade Section
As long as these numbers are generated automatically and not by users, I see it as a solid idea. But yes, every user should start off with a solid number, declining for every "ignored" trade request.
Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.

" Idk, if they keep the data that determines if your a price fixers a secret this system would help the game so dam much. You have to realize GGG has tons of player data that can determine if your a price fixer. It then all comes down to coding a algorithm. I thought about trying to make a smaller version of this but, there public api doesn't give me the data to tie a successful trade to a player and his items ect. There api is pretty limiting on what data they return for a every player. |

" Hows that supposed to work and what about buyers behaviour - like spamming 20 sellers for the same item in 10 sec and giving none of them a chance to respond? Im mean Im trying to sell as much as I can, but when Im busy fighting a boss Ill ignore trade request just like everybody else. Wouldnt players be punished for engaging with harder content or running stuff that prevents them from opening a portal - like lab, delve and such? Id be content if the API would show that. Instead of "online" tell me the guy is running lab so I dont waste time. Or how about auto replies using premade macros "Sorry Im busy, will PM later" or whatever. |

" That has never worked for any game that has tried it... Gold farmers have WAY more resources to crack such a system than GGG has to implement it. There's also absolutely no profit in it for GGG, only significant expense. Not only coding resource, but also permanent customer service fallout to handle the sh*tstorm of complaints that would follow. |

" Yup. People don't seem to realize that a measurable portion of the economy is being run by fully automated bot armies. The cartels would simply trade with themselves until they dominated whatever metrics you want to establish. You will still have price fixers filling the top 15 slots on the trade site - except now they will be price fixers with AAA Gold Star Double-Plus Bestest-Ever rankings. You can't "beat" automation John Henry style. This is the world we live in. I hate that we can't have nice things. The people that run these bots are scum. I omniloath them. But you have to be ultra careful not to play into their strengths. Last edited by Sabranic_SilverDeth#2793 on Sep 6, 2021, 5:24:08 AM

" Of course, there are exceptions here. And the "problem" goas both ways; seller and buyer. All I want for a system like this, is that it isn't based on user reviews, because then it's doomed from the start. Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.

" The system the OP is advocating is based on user reviews... Bot X talk to Bot Y, they talk a while (scripted), then conduct the trade. A++ rating to both of them... rinse and repeat! Whenever GGG put in any changes to combat that, the bots will be updated before you can say 'automation'... Basically... Not possible! |

" Fair enough. I'm just too old and slow when it comes to realizing how far someone would go to make their bots corner the market. Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.

Too easy to abuse, would never work without heavy manual moderation.
Not selling me an exalt for 10C? GG pay up or get rekt scammer, I'll ask all my friends to trade spam you or leave you negative rep. Uploaded an awesome Exsanguinate Freeze Explosion build on the forums - https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3508506

" This and so much worse. Think extortion, censorship, brigading, destroying competitors, price fixing... " Even Amazon.com con't stop this sort of thing. What chance would GGG have? Again... we live in the sort of world where these types of "high trust" community police actions are untenable. In a low-trust society, you pretty much can't have nice things.
