Where is the loot?

I initially loved this game... The skill gems and passive tree are brilliant. Building a toon and getting gems and passive skills was intoxicating. Then i hit lvl 70ish and started doing maps... What a bore. I have a lvl 72 bow duelist and a lvl 75 summoner witch and a lvl 45 maurader (dont get me started on melee in this game). Throughout my time here i have found a grand total of 2 GCPs, 3 regals, 0 exalted and 6 crappy uniques.... this constitutes hundreds of hours of gameplay for what? my toons can still do the content but i ask myself why continue to play? my gear is crap... i havent found shit for gear or currency in the 200 levels ive played. If i happen to find a 6 socket piece of gear i can use i have a .001% chance of linking it? Whats the point? What is the motivation? I have none

Loving this thread, haven't heard the word dipshit in a couple of decades, if I ever make a unique item for this game it will be called Dipshit...any food can be good, but dip always makes it better

PoE have the lowest Drop Rates from all HnS game i ever played (and i played them all including console ones).
If you want aquire upgrades and especially currency by just playing (and in sane amounts of time - lets say 2 hours per day)... FORGET IT. You may multibox, bot, cheat or trade. With trade way you must have something to start (its when we go back to the 'crappy drop rate' part). |

Are you leveling on lower maps? Looking at your gear, 6 uniques to 2 GCP, it seems like you're getting items, but no currency. This usually happens when people play areas that are under their level, farming for gear and/or looking to level their toons. My highest character is a 50 and I have 3 GCP and only 2 uniques.
