The end for Tencent (stock in free fall) ???

China is now strongarming private business like Tencent, making new law about these kind of companies should now be "non profit" companies.

Tencent stocks is in free fall at the moment. Wonder if they will pull GGG down with them......

If you are quitting over this, then can I please have all your currency and high value items in Standard.
No reason to add to the waste of this world.

He he LOL - Epic reply. :)

But no, just wondering about GGG future now that the "money pit" may dry up !!
Maybe now GGG has to "work" to keep alive and not just, care about owners realm.....
Don't know their contract with Tencent, but if it fails one of the first things they'll do is sell stocks in companies like GGG. Chris might be able to buy it back at a profit.

Because that's what successful companies do, they buy up other companies just to start pumping money into them to keep them afloat.

Seriously, think that comment through some more.
Thanks for all the fish!
Wow good thing I don't have any money in those Chinese tech stocks. I just have money in domestic stocks that aren't doing well.

Its just another government shakedown for protection money; same as it ever was.
They have only taken away the music monopolist status from the company, if you just read the articles. Not bad for a regime that still calls itself communist.

It won´t change much, except for the company cannot squeeze money out of artists that easily. And some shareholders sold their stocks because they cannot get richer from other peoples´ work that easily now and just push their money into something else and worse (e.g. food, water, weapons, property) that still needs to be more regulated.

Nothing to do with GGG.

What do you mean by "non profit"? Nationalization?
