Seriously? CWDT + Immortal Call + Incr. duration cost 126 mana!
At least it works with Lifetap.
Not as good as before but still doable if you have some good base life regen and the guard skills are cooldown based so its not like you're getting chunked every 500ms. Masterpiece of 3.16 lore
"A mysterious figure appears out of nowhere, trying to escape from something you can't see. She hands you a rusty-looking device called the Blood Crucible and urges you to implant it into your body." Only usable with Ethanol Flasks |

?
My cwdt + ic only costs around 40 mana, it should be around 60 if I had increased duration on it. Where are you getting 126? I hope you're not maxing out the levels on these... because that's not how you were supposed to use them in the first place. |

Seems, fine, really, if you ask me, none of that should even work.
Let's put it like this, if you could still trigger warcries like back when trigger gems got introduced, do you think they would become a major mechanic or be as good and impactful as they currently are? Easy effects like this that just cost a few slots are the reason the game plays the way it does. GGG is balancing their game with the assumption that everyone has cheap setups like that, everyone uses strong flasks, everyone has a logout macro. It restricts the design space, and kills diversity in the long run Just remember back then cwdt + enduring cry was on every single singledy build in existence, unless the player just went and said "this is dumb, I'm not using this", and not many did. Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

They already said they're reducing some of the mana multipliers.
Having slightly less mana reserved doesn't seem like a deal breaker to me in order to get CoC Cyclone under control. Why would you use a lvl 20 Immortal Call btw? That's 3.2k Damage taken. I prefer the CWDT around 1.4k. Then you weave your Enduring Cry into it, esp after it procs. You have your Charges, Enduring Cry and Immortal call up at the same time. Immortal Call goes on it's reduced CD with Cry + Charges on the second cycle then again all three go up on the next cycle. This method uses Immortal Call as a Defensive layer instead of a panic button. You want it to proc. The downside is Second Wind RIP and of course it'll cost you ~10 passives but it's generally worth it. "Never trust floating women." -Officer Kirac

You can't blame people for going after what is efficient. This is a game, not some ego trip showroom.

Honestly you should stop arguing with people that enjoy 3.15 and want 1.0 back.
If they really want the game to die, let them do it. Eventually there will be other games to replace Path of Exile. I start with Diablo II, after that I went to Diablo III, it wasn't fun. So I tried Path of Exile, it was even worst than Diablo III. Then I discovered Marvel Heroes, which died after they introduce Omega. When that happened I came back to Path of Exile to see how it was again and I was very pleasured with the direction GGG were going. But if they want to do a Marvel Heroes of themselves. Let them be. |

I use mine (IC/CWDT) as safety net, when I see it pop it's my cue I need to move away somewhere safe. I tried with a lower level CWDT to use it as defense layer but I like it better this way.

Auto triggering a reactive skill, that is both strong and defensive and can prevent character death, costs Mana...
Thematically that makes sense that there is a cost involved in all that. Sure I can get behind that. What if the CWDT reserves said mana cost instead? That way we always have it active if it fits into the build (might have to grab some more mana here and there but that something we can build around). .-. .. -.- ..- -.- .-.. .- -.-- - --- -. I put inspiration support in all my CWDT supports and they work fine now. Once PoE 2 comes out, we'll have the sockets to throw duration support back in.
