Is Diablo 3 Better as 3.15 ?

Why does it have to be one or the other?

"| Better is subjective, and asking on a rival game forum, it will be hard to get a fair assessment. My advice, try it out, you may like it, you may not. I feel D3 is worth it for a playthrough at least. |

I'm playing D3 Season 24 right now. It is the first season of D3 I've ever played. I'm enjoying the new Ethereal weapons because they are very overpowered.

I bought Diablo 3 around release and barely played it, my highest level character was lvl 32. I just started a new guy in season 24, what I can see so far.
Pros Your pet loots gold for you If PoE had gold I can see Chris making up pick up each gold piece 1 piece at a time. I can admiunt I don't feel the "weight" of gold and I love it. If you are playing single player you can actually pause the game. Crazy right. You can level in adventure mode, similar to maps. So much better than having to do the campaign, which is being made to take longer????, every time. Cons I'm just a casual, so my opinion doesn't matter and I only bought the first D3 expansion, but end game seems a lot lighter than in PoE. I think i'm around level 56 right now, but it looks like there is just adventure mode and rifts. Summary D3 is simpler than PoE and it appears there is less to do in late game so it might get boring quick, but I am enjoying it so far. It will definitely carry me over for this PoE season. |

" As a diablo 3 season ? no poe expedition is still by far better, d3 has been abandon ware for a long time now, however if you havent played d3 since last expansion, i would recomend you do play it, its a fantastic rpg, too bad blizzard has abandoned it and doesnt do updates for it |

As a long time fan of the Diablo series, I can honestly say that, despite the recent changes, I still believe that GGG did everything right that Blizz missed the mark on. Diablo 3 was fun for a while. But the grind gets old quick. League (season) Mechanics disappear at the end of the season and too little is ever added to enhance the core game. I like that I can get bored with maps and go do the delve, or heists, or whatever.
If you're not happy with the current league, and you've never played Diablo 3, then go give it a shot. I honestly haven't gone back to Diablo 3 since I started playing POE about 2 and a half years ago. Even with these new changes, I don't think I'll go back to D3. But then, I also don't plan to play the Expedition League either. |

" Probably not. Diablo hasn't gotten any content in like 5 years. Diablo 3 had alot of potential. I loved it when they actually released content. When Greater rifts, the cube thing et.c. was introduced the game was really fun. Had they kept adding content like that every season it could've eventually turned into a deep and good game. But instead, nothing happened. Dead game. |
