🔥🔥 BUFF Righteous Fire . STOP NERFING THIS SKILL🔥🔥🔥
|
It would be fantastic if Petrified Blood protected your entire life pool instead of just the lower half. Delayed damage with all that life regen? Yes, please!

GGG Righteous Fire should be buffed its one of the most symbolic skills of the game and i have been playing it for 8 years no matter what nerf it already got
but this Nerf was just too huge its hard to do any damage with this as main skill now. Thanks for listening to the community much love take care. |

Guess the last user deleted his post, considering the last reply was in august.
My understanding is that the skill itself got buffed in 3.16 (more flat damage + more % of life/es as dmg) but the overall damage may be slightly nerfed due to changes to EE. Masterpiece of 3.16 lore "A mysterious figure appears out of nowhere, trying to escape from something you can't see. She hands you a rusty-looking device called the Blood Crucible and urges you to implant it into your body." Only usable with Ethanol Flasks Last edited by gandhar0#5532 on Oct 8, 2021, 3:02:16 AM

" i just bumped the thread because devs actually listened to this post and increased base damage of RF. i think thats a good step in the right direction but i also wanted to just voice my concern about the life regeneration changes as it might be that regen is moved from the passive tree to primarily gear, which can be difficult depending on how its balanced. " Guess Chieftain would be a reliable fallback plan since he has lots of passive life regen. We'll have to see the full patch notes, but from what we have so far 3.16 will be a HUGE nerf to RF and not a buff, so I'd hold off on thanking GGG prematurely.
What we know so far: Overload will no longer work with RF at all, under any circumstances, so that's a full 40% More Damage completely lost with no means of recovering it. Additionally, Ele Equilibrium is being changed to Exposure, not a unique -res affect, which means it will no longer stack with the Master of Fire cluster notable or Scorching Ray, and literally everyone gets one of those two when they make a Righteous Fire build. So that's a net gain of either 35% or 50% fire resistance on bosses, depending on how you were getting exposure before. So, you're right: the base damage of RF is going up? But it's not being doubled or tripled, and that's what it would take to counteract these massive nerfs to keystones that Righteous Fire absolutely relied upon. righteous fire was always my favorite tanky af build and it ALWAYS struggled with damage. I don't understand what GGG has against it!

+1
As a side note, with the new skill tree and the move of supreme ego even further away from mortal conviction, that's another large potential nerf for those RF builds that used a buffed up Malevolence. Takes about 9 points more, through some useless evasion stuff, to get it now. Really wish they would put supreme ego back where it was, and put the new Magebane keystone where it is now. |

Yeah, RF is just skill for bullying players. It was nerfed countless times for no reason. With 25ex invest you can get like 10-30m dps on some crit-maniac-build. With RF you will get, 700k maybe, and hope not to die? Garbage skill. No penetration, no multipliers like for crits (which can be buffed to ridiculous amounts, with 100% crit chance), no "on hit" effects, -1 flask, you slow and clumsy, etc.

To say nothing of taking away Fortify as a source of defense, the complete inability to use energy shield unless you're an Inquisitor, the loss of EE/EO in 3.16...
I actually do *less* adjusted damage with RF in 3.16 than I did in 3.15, which is incredible given the direct buff to the skill itself. |
