the mana nerf and how its effected your build

the recent nerf to mana cost is insane...
as if it wasnt hard enough for ranger or any other build to get mana,you nerfed mana cost to the point that using a weapon like quillrain is nearly impossible arch mage? sure granted you can even use glacial hammer in twilight strand more than 3 times without depleting all of your mana i understand that ggg wanted to make this game harder...but how can you get any where with a 16 mana cost ON TWILIGHT STRAND? thats insane! god forbid you decide to make a quill rain build...your allowed 10 shots if that before you run out of that 200 mana .....
sure i could use clarity.. but that reserves mana as it recovers it...and half the time im stuck waiting for the mana to regen while trying to stay alive longenough using a default attack trying to get my flasks refilled? is this what you wanted? you wanted us to make a default attack build?

im really trying at this point to stay forum freindly cause my lvl of pissed off is overshadowed by the forum rules....

I was blown away when on a fresh Marauder I reach Hillock having used a mana flask charge before reaching him I had a dreadful suspicion that it would be impossible.

Lo and behold the reality is then me running around for a solid 2 minutes looking to recharge mana or flask before exiting the game and uninstalling it.

It's just not fun in the way you'd have problems and solutions. If the solution is to just walk around aimlessly waiting for mana to recover. I know how trite this is but I look at in microcosm as the first thing a player should see as remarkable and it stunk. A problem exists and there is no solution. They could just die and remember not to use their flask before Hillock. But now the game is full of these kinds of events that aren't especially fun or telegraphed.
I have mana leech on my build so.. my mana bar doesn't even move.
haven't gotten to 5/6L mana costs yet but having 2 mana per hit + mana leech and a multi hit attack(storm rain) my mana is basically always full..

now if I don't hit anything for a few shots its OOM time.

id hate to say this ggg but after 7 years of playing.. and trying to be faithfull
youve offically lost me.. maybe some day ill return but this this is retarded yall over did it a little dont listen to the comunitty as a whole and i doubt you test the nerfs you implement yourself good bye ggg

Technically, I analyzed my build after the patch, before I needed only about 180 mana for the build, now, taking into account the entire increased mana cost, and this is = 60-90% percent increased , + taking into account nerfs, the cvdt for which you need to spend mana, + increased mana consumption of things with autocast, + frequent triggering of kvdt, for example, with a call to immortality, all this very quickly drains your mana pool, as a result, we have a bunch of non-working builds like a fastcasting / coc/ volatile dead etc, especially difficult for builds that are focused on spells - since I didn't really see modifiers in the game that leech mana for such builds, and especially for energy shield builds, and so if earlier you needed 65 mana to cast a skill, now it becomes 100+, if before for a great job you need mana was 180 enough, then taking into account all the previous nerfs, now you need about 300-500 mana units, which means that you need to increase the mana pool in the tree by 100%(and even more because of kvdt and autocast ) and spend skill nodes on this, in the end we come to the conclusion that many builds do not work well or do not work Generally(especially, there is a decrease in survivability, taking into account the waste of mana of protective mechanics tied to cvdt = since this is still multiplied with elemental states and the nerf of flask immunity, this leads to the quintessence of piled crap on the entire poe community. ) , + decrease in the number of free points of passive skills from the tree for taking mana, and some crazy mechanic of spending unnecessary mana on KVDT and auto-casting skills(if the usual mana consumption +60-90% can still be dealt with, then this is already the idiot's final decision), I was greatly upset by this patch. so in addition, they also completely killed the skill gem - controlled destruction, which reduces the damage of a critical build, for example, with a 100% critical chance by minus 50% DPS by POB, and makes your critical chance no longer 100% but 20%, it looks like just idiotic stupid ggg , I mean was it really necessary to make these two changes in the patch? for example, I don't really care about the other changes they made, but mana cost and controlled destruction are just shit blast from the ass on players)

I see no problem with mana as a caster but I did some mana investment (+ mana on gear).
People will just learn how to adapt.
It has happened earlier with mana leech nerf.
Could not kill oak on a marauder (trying not to die - didn't work)...it was kinda funny...

Had to get another mana flask.
on a new build in the league, i completely bypassed all mana stuff-

life recharge (from eternal youth) and life tap, this let me to fully reserve mana and drop all mana investment. To keep life recharging picked evasion, dodge and freezing skill. However it drains 300 mana per sec on lvl 59.

I have a hunch that its not worth investing into mana (non archmage) for casual self casters. (battery staff, eldritch battery or life tap might be better at this point).

Made me spend a single point on a 4% mana leech node that I'll have to refund later when I don't need it.
