I can't see why you'd care either way whether Chris intends it or not i can't think of a single thing the game has in common with Dark Souls, this game has more in common with stardew valley than Dark Souls.

There is this thing called different time zones, so unless you know from which region most of the players are from, this is only speculation.

Except the part where there is a time window where both NA and EU are asleep and steam is nonexistent in asia. It's almost like these primetime/graveyard hours has been a thing every day for the past 10 years.
But wait. I don't like this league. So the low steam numbers in the middle of 5AM New York time must actually mean the game has died.

Except that you clearly have no clue what you are talking about, as this time window, if existent at all, is very small. Aside from the fact that gamers dont always have a regular sleeping schedule, especially at the beginning of the league AT THE WEEKEND. lul.
I am not saying that the game is dead. I just read something about time zones which was clearly wrong and had to be corrected.

The game difficulty isn't the problem. it is now super slow and draggy and you feel underwhelmingly weak.

What is making people say this? There was almost no change in monsters and massive amounts of buffs. This patch made most characters way stronger.

50% player decline in the first 10 hrs of a league. Nice "vision" chris, killed your own cash cow with it.
It's your "everyone needs a trophy", vision, that's the problem. If you can't get your "trophy", right now, you're going to go pout, QQ, stomp, and scream about it.
