Do we need something valuable that ONLY comes from mid-tier maps?
" Challenges completed only indicates that a person likes to do challenges. I had 300 hours in Ultimatum and passively got 12. I don't enjoy chasing them. Looking at the list usually puts me to sleep. I probably should say that the majority of people that get to T16s at some point in the league do so very early in the league. I admit that sometimes my definition of playerbase is a bit narrow. |

" That's not the point of my post. It doesn't matter if a person likes to do the challenges or how many hours you have played. As you said it yourself, you completed 12 challenges passively & if you analyze the challenges more, it will give you an idea that a player has probably finished the acts because these challenges have a milestone that will give you an idea in what stage of the game where they at. " Well, that statement was entirely different from your original statement that I'm correcting which is the context of my post. The point being, I'm just correcting your wrong assumption/statement in my reply. "A game IS supposed to waste your time but it's not supposed to make you FEEL like you're wasting your time:
It's supposed to make you WANT to waste your time." |

" So while I agree there might be a lack of progression for those players, the source of the problem is incorrect. The lack of progression isn't because a player is running red maps instead of yellow, it's because of trade. When even the rare pieces of gear that's better then the overwhelming majority that drop can be bought for a couple chaos, now the plethora of things to do in poe seem like a waste of time, and your sense of progression drops. There's tons of progress to be had if you try it SSF. Last edited by Bleu42#4018 on Jul 20, 2021, 12:46:31 PM
