Random question, what browser do you guys use while playing?
Like what browser do you guys use? I personally use the Steam browser. But was wondering if it impacted performance more than say Chrome?

Chrome and PoE fighting for your RAM is the celebrity deathmatch you'd like to stay away from.

" Steam is worst offender when it comes to commonly used software. I use standalone launcher because steam is always taking away too much of performance. Steam without using its browser takes 400MB of ram That is 400MB you could have by using standalone Steam also uses HUUUUUUUUUUGE ammount of your cpu power, why? Like seriously, why even minimalized it takes 0.4% from my 8 core cpu? that would be on budget build 2% cpu performance loss while not even being focused window. At least it does not use much gpu performance I have 54 google chrome tabs open at the moment and it still takes 0% cpu I got 32gb ram so I do not have some hard decision to make, but most builds still run 8gb ram 4core cpu. I honestly do not think either is good choice if you want to squeeze all the performance from your computer. Find something really lightweight that does not keep save of previously visited pages. Steam-> big no, especially with browser Chrome-> RAM does say OwO Ouchie Ouchie Firefox is not any better Microsoft edge is actually pretty decent with single tab open. Try Pale Moon that is one of lightest browsers around. I feel pretty, Oh, so pretty,

I use the Opera GX gaming browser. You can set RAM, CPU and Network limiters.

" That is cool stuff, especially the network limiter. I'm not so confident about the base itself tho, because opera sucks for many years. I used to run it like 13 years ago because i really loved the mouse gesture stuff. Opera gaming was released under chinese consortium and I would just say that might be no-no for people with privacy and security concerns. It is also closed source software so you are left to guessing about how invasive it is. But I do not care about that stuff much and might try it for the network limiter(which you can set with many other free apps too, but idea of it being build-in is nice) I feel pretty, Oh, so pretty,

Yeah, Chrome.

Been using Pale Moon for a while in-game. Most of the time though I use Microsoft Edge/Internet Explorer when not in-game.
