90% of skills are unplayable in the endgame without Huge investments because developers somehow decided to balance the game around 1% of the playerbase. it all started since 3.8 patch i think, where they trippled hp of all endgame bosses. nothing in terms of skills they nerfed last like Two years or even more was OP, it just was Viable and players play Viable skills because playing Non-viable skill would make the game completely unbearable.
couple this with completely broken gear progression system (99% of dropped gear is uselss, crafting is a lottery), and, well, here we are. atlas is a huge, i mean a HUGE chore to do every league. awakened bonus is completely useless (being nerfed 2 times). and so on. im just scratching the surface with these remarks, there are dozens of things that are in a bad place in the game rn. i want to see so-called "game-wide balance changes" in 3.15. if its another bait like "reworked leagues rewards" or "reworked skill gems" last leagues, i will not even start. i have other better games to play, like Warframe, where 90% of weapons and builds are actually Viable, not the other way around. dead game bring back 3.13 Last edited by Tainted_Fate#2799 on Jun 18, 2021, 1:36:50 PM

I gave this league chance even after saying that it is gonna suck.
Sadly I was not wrong and it was really bad actually worse than expected, hope next one is gonna be fun because I ran out of games to play. Lost Ark is coming soon but still is not avaible. And mmos like blue protocol are faaaar away. We get only refreshes of old stuff and mobile phone crap(runescape) With poe2 i can forgive many downfalls when it comes to endgame(even if it had none) but with poe I can not, and it really feels like endgame got removed compared to previous league. This was previous league, enjoying each week, getting noticable upgrades with fun unique effects. this is current one, just grab unique of the month, close your eyes-> slam some exalts around and quit. Game is just as easy with the same builds but with nothing to work for. Farm 3 months to orb spam some helm and get nothing in return? No thanks. Get 1% dps upgrade with 100exalt wand? That you trade for days and first 50000people do not reply? What for, fractured maps are pain to get again, there is no reason to get anything better than tabula rasa and then do any endgame boss on easy mode with it. I feel pretty, Oh, so pretty,

" Indeed my request isn't special, because many others want it this way also. It is however reasonable because I am not going to hassle myself buying supplies, most especially when supply is made so low. I am not going to buy supplies and roll maps only to find that 1/3 the maps fail due to technical issues (just this league btw). It angers me and many. So it is reasonable. There's some argument it's to discourage playing maps that stress their servers too much, and if so i mean, just remove deli altogether and endgame. With all the 'broken' stuff fixed, it's exactly why player count is back to 2017's and perhaps this will keep up and go even lower. So people didn't actually THREATEN to quit, people did quit. And i am no different. Did stop playing a month or so ago. Patch notes will be out soon and we'll see, but till then, we voice ourselves. `Spent 2 mirrors on my build, but I'm only Level 98.` LOL

" Middle and end league is always a bad place to measure if people actually quit the game. Some leagues don't click with people, some do. The leagues I like I tend to get 40/40 in. The leagues I don't, I tend to stop at 24. The ones that are decent I get 37/40. It's a subjective point. For example, I did not enjoy Breach league much. I found the breaches monotonous after a while. Most of the players viewed it as the second coming. A real measurement will occur at the start of a league, over multiple leagues. Why multiple leagues? Because not every release is equal. Last league was a league and a major expansion. Those leagues tend to have high starting players and retention. As an example, Harbinger (3.0) was a league and a major expansion. That league went 4 months and still had decent retention at the end (relatively speaking of course). Last league as well. So we shall see what the start of the next few leagues look like and maybe just maybe this will be the dooms day prediction that finally comes true. At some point, after a decade of people saying it, it is bound to come true. More players does not mean better. A game with less players that is balanced and holds to certain principles is better than a game that tries to cater to the masses. Keeping Up with the Kardashians has a lot of viewers. That doesn't make it good. This isn't the doomsday moment. Just like it wasn't the doomsday moment at this point in every single league for the past decade. But we shall see. Thanks for all the fish! I tried the changes this league, I honestly started off optimistic (saying there will be less competition) and then quickly came to realize, no - this is really not fun. Whatever you say about threats is a lie, I did quit and many others have. For now, it's just this league, if this keeps up, itll be the same for next league. Expansion is good, and people weren't bored last league for many other reasons. Expansion is still here and people got tired early. You can guess what the difference is. The complaints this league are all of the same nature coming from many different people. Why be in denial? Nokia held to their principles. " Nokia chose the wrong principle to stand with; particularly when smart phones were clearly taking off. GGG on the other hand is choosing to balance their game and remove abusive things. That seems like a good principle to run with. I'll see you in a few weeks when the patch notes come out and wish you good luck in your journey to finding happiness and a new game. Just when i was curious if this one is over soon here is my answer *yay. So good to hear this league is over in less than month. After having a 2 league period break from PoE i came back pretty happy with what Ultimatum showed and all re-work just to again hit the brick wall at the end game and trying to find a reason other than wrapping up challenges to keep on playin' but i guess i will just stick to getting free MTX's to not get pointlessly upset.
Worst stuff they could have ever think of - let's put yet another layer of rng on a challenge this time, fun...not. Hit 36, level 97, encountered trailmaster in total 3 times, just wow since i did every single one on red map. One needs to really enjoy playing around to go for this particular challenge. (defeat trialmaster conditionally) I personally dislike grind like this being tied to rng instead of regular progress bar. But i'm still happy and welcome new inc league with open arms because the time period from having nothing and just getting your character built up, gathering mats, crafting, trading, hitting those challenges, the end game content is still pleasant enough to keep me going. I wish the crafting part was again not so rng with hitting the tier 1 stats and so on since there are so many options now, but i would love to see system where you need to put effort to gather those mats yourself and just get what you need, not cross fingers for good results or go over bazillion guides on how to craft one good item in some lucky tries...*meh Still, maybe in PoE 2 (cus for this PoE its too late) they will not repeat mistakes here, of having meaningless bosses with trash of a loot, robbing us from the very reason to kill them (with few exceptions), pushing most to just buy gear because its faster and easier even than crafting yourself. Literally with harvest crafts i could get full stacks of exalt cards with no sweat and buy all gear but it feels kind of....meh? yet also necessary to feel some progress. Anyway cheers y' all. Gonna actually see how the next league build is gonna be while this one is still going on since i'm done with challenges.
