Is there drop level restriction for specific divination cards or just area restriction?

According to poedb Divination Cards have DropLever restriction. Is that true?

Probably yes (area level).

And no one wanna try to spam stacked deck as lvl 1 character and then compare the result to 80 lvl character to confirm

Maybe I'll put some context.

I was about to try farm Temple of Atzoatl for The Sacrifice card. And I was targeting Quarry for fast Alva spawn. According to poedb this card have DropLevel 80. So it shouldn't drop in area below level 80, and would make Quarry farm meaningless for that reason.

Since there is no confirmation from GGG that drop level is a thing for divination cards I don't know if I will be unlucky or just wont drop below area level 80.

I didn't missed chance for that.

I stumbled about DropLever information today when I was searching poedb. Since there is no mention in Patch Notes, I don't know if that information is true.

To be sure, you can combine some high-level alvas missions with quarry and get that lvl80; back in time it just got the highest level of the incursions ran, now it's some average number. Or well, if you are in trade league, it may be faster to farm a couple chaos and buy chronicles

Of course level matters for div card drops. Nearly everything in the game is gated by area/monster level. And in this case, they're definitely not going to let you farm up drop-restricted cards for the highest level hybrid base in the game, six-linked and ilvl 100, in a lvl 55 Temple or smth.

You'll need to run a level 80 Temple for your best chance of getting that card to drop. At 78 it can still drop from boss/architects/rare mobs (since they get +2 to drop levels) and at 79 it can also drop from magic mobs. 80 makes it possible for anything there to drop it.

You should also try to make sure you get a Armourer's room and Storage room, as they both usually have 1 or more div card reward nodes when upgraded. Armourer room div card rewards are all specific to armour cards, so that's the most important one. Strongbox room for the off chance of a Diviner's box doesn't hurt either.

What you saying is not relevant. I said nothing about 55 Area Level Temple. Imperial Legacy was (or still is) a drop in Foothills, until apparently this patch. You can also get very early six-links from Heist.

I'm not asking for advice how to farm cards, or what GGG allows players to do. Just how relevant are drop levels from poedb, for some items are way higher, even beyond the usual drop areas.
