" Running into? I was talking about avoiding. For me the skill is basically just being able to manually evade attacks or projectiles. Some of them kids are pretty darn good with a mouse! I say kids because adults typically lose that reaction time haha. You could say timing your limited flasks at the right moment is also a skill. " As i said in my post, you can substitute skill with gear, if you just overgear enough anything in this game becomes trivial childsplay. That's not really build dependent either. Melee builds using transcendence can probably just stand in that shaper bullet hell as well if they want to, same for Aurastackers and pretty much any build with high avoidance and recovery. You can kill AL8 Sirus in 1 seconds and require 0 skill if you have the 100+ EX gear needed for it (getting all the currency by itself requires some sort of skill though). You can do him in x minutes standing still and facetanking all his moves if you know how to build defenses (which i'd also consider a skill of sorts) or you can do him in x minutes using a 5k life 75 res glass cannon that dies from looking him in the eye. If we are talking about actual play skill then the first 2 versions don't require any, the last one does. And most league players will have to resort to the latter to beat him. Outgearing the encounter is something for the 0,01% as usual. Ultimately the entire "this game requires no skill" argument is nonsense. It does, not necessarily in terms of gameplay because you can outgear that requirement but even that requires certain skill sets that not everybody has. |

say that to people that do endgame bosses in the first day (do u think they have a lot of gear?)

Sure, if your actual argument is that tier 19 100% deli maps with full scarabs and sextants are pretty much a pure gear check, then yeah i'll give you that. That's like 1% of the content though, as far as the remaining 99% are concerned, your just plain wrong and looking at how you framed that challenge of yours, you already know it. |
