" Thats a good idea. I actually gave a stash tab as a gift to my friend but what I faced was a questioning phase equal to an fbi investigation... It should not be that hard. If a person is in my friend list I should be able to gift him stuff. After I gifted a stash tab to my friend I had to -awkwardly- explain to him that I gifted him a stash tab... Trust your mind and strengthen your abilities!

" Sounds familiar. I mean, I understand why they do it, it's money and other people's accounts. For example, gift or not, they can't just barge into your house and change your furniture, right? " On Steam, someone has the choice to decline the gift, here they do not. They would have to get in touch with Support to remove gifted items, which is yet more work for GGG that they don't get paid to do. The gifting party would likely request a refund as well in a case like that. In short, it's just a lot of trouble and risk and that's bad business. That's (I think) why there is such a process to go through for gifting. Carry on my waypoint son, there'll be peace when maps are done.

" Definitely makes sense, yeah. It'd be extra work to handle "gift-denials" as well as gifts themselves. Even though I don't think that scenario would occure often. But yeah, adding extra features that don't directly benefit the company in an obvious way are always considered at least twice or not at all. I'd love to have GGG show some more customer-related approaches though, as it has been in the past. Before (((tencent))) showed up, ya know. Didn't GGG state at one point that they were not automating the gift option because they were concerned about it being used as a P2W scheme? e.g., Give me that great 6L bow and I'll gift you 200 mtx points.

" That is definitely one of the concerns when it comes to gifting in PoE. Such a powerful and free economy brings some concerns with it. However, even in the current system, one could see that it is possible to do that kind of a trade. Trust your mind and strengthen your abilities!

" Yeah, me too. I'd love to do a giveaway, or just distribute them randomly in my guild or friendlist. Not at all to brag, because honestly, it's nothing short of shameful to see my MTX stash, but I could make a lot of people happy with the duplicates I've accumulated over the years, and I would. But obviously, that's never going to happen as that's clearly very bad business for GGG, for two reasons. Loss of sales is one, people who get one or two armor sets for free from people like me would be much less likely to ever considering buying another. The other reason is that GGG would have to be the ones doing all the heavy lifting as far as gifting these items, for free. The only counter argument I could think of would be the fact that I already paid for these items, right? Well, while they weren't generated for free, they did come from boxes which include random, but heavily discounted items. Even if I did pay for them, it doesn't come anywhere near a "real" sale of the same item and for that reason again, it's bad business. Carry on my waypoint son, there'll be peace when maps are done.
