Make possible to give MTX gifts to friends

For example in LOL, you can gift your friends a skin.
I have some friends that play POE and I would like to be able, when they have their birthday, to gift them some cool MTX. This would actually increase your MTX sales. Last bumped on Jun 23, 2021, 7:08:17 AM

if you want to gift someone mtx then they can arrange this for you if you email them

Pretty sure he wants to gift an existing MTX that's already on his account.
This is a no-no. Sitting in HO spamming alts for 4 hours straight is peak PoE gameplay. Thanks, Chris.

That would mean less revenue for the company since people would start selling the MTX that they've bought and aren't using, or gotten in mystery boxes, for ingame currency. The people who buy them will now not buy them from GGG.
You'll not see this happen. There is absolutely no benefit in it for the company, just cost. |

In order for sales to increase, he would have to be the one buying MTX for the gift, so I don't agree with your analogy. Gifting existing items is 100% not going to happen, trust me. I'd be happy to have the following options when buying MTX:
