There are quite a few builds that beat the game on under 10ex budget. If you need 200ex to get something to beat the game you have a lot more to learn.

Ive played like 20 forum builds

Ive killed uber elder once on a miner build that had 10ex wands and still was 50/50 chance of actually killing him (but ive only tried him on like 3 chars)

Ive only killed sirus on one of them (then again sirus wasnt around when i did most of them)

Ive killed maven 0 times (also only tried on one char)

Only build ive ever fully done a simu on was the build im using this league

I dont believe any build could do a 100% t16 del map that i have made

I do believe most of them could do t16s but most/all? could not do all guardians



Most of the builds i do are like 10ex max (could be more the longer the league goes but id still say around 10ex)

forum builds tend to be BS you have to be able to read PoB well enough to know how bullshit it is, 4/5 are a generic template that someones stuck a mirrors worth of unobtainable gear on and ticked every box in PoB.

The remainder are pretty good though, some really good well rounded builds kicking about if your willing to search through and learn a little and some of the bullshit ones are perfectly usable if you preen them to a decent standard... Though obviously if you can do that you can probably just make your own.

SST Bleed Gladiator. Best build to 10ex I ever played. Fast clear, tanky, mediocre damage.
I did Sirius, Uber Elder, Maven, Simulacrum.
Not enough dmg for juiced 100% T16, but killed 100% T16 Shaper guardians for the challenge in Delirium leagues.

The only builds people are happy with have 3m map clears, 10s boss kills, all on a budget. They don't exist. Pick something without expensive uniques. If a build brags how good it is, chances are you should avoid it unless you know how to tweak to fit your budget. As a casual do not expect to reach all content unless you play standard. There is some serious investment now to conquer everything.

Also skill cannot beep underestimated...
