When you hate dying and oneshots and like tanking and minions perhaps take a look at 600k ehp with

3.13 Endgame: The Agonyca Arachnophobia Allstars, 9000+ ES, top 140000 Armour, 90% pdr, 2800 ES on block

Agony and Arakaali

The managuardian setup is much fun in full deliriums without hh and without oneshots the poe mechanics are great.

Tales of Maj Eyal. It is basically an off shoot of rogue.exe with better graphics. It is semi-hardcore, so I haven't gotten too far in the game as it is easy to die. (edit - forgot to mention it is turn based)

WH40K Inquisitor Martyr is pretty good. It is fairly slow. They have "leagues" with reward tiers. I can't say I fully understand the character tree but I play pretty casually. There is not a lot of tileset diversity, so it can get visually monotonous. I haven't really done too much in the end game, but it seems like you can make life difficult for yourself. Crafting seems relatively decent.

I like Warhammer Chaos Bane, and for old school, Nox is a classic game everyone should try.
Grim Dawn

A succesor of Titan Quest.
It has the same good dual class system.

A ittle boring is:
Areas are (mostly) made "by hand" (= constant) and not generated randomly by programs.
But they are a little more beautiful and the few secret areas are better hidden.
And there are many many areas.
Sometimes finding the correct way is difficult.

The "special divination tree" with stars (star groups) reminds to PoE passive tree. It has a lot of nodes and a complex mechanic.
As complex as the mechanics of attacks, triggered attacks, synergies, item enchants, factions, sets, resistances, ...

Fights against little bosses are hit and run many times.
Same is versus end bosses with extra problems in small rooms.

Grim Dawn reminds me of PoE of maybe 6 years ago.
Over 430 threads discussing labyrinth problems with over 1040 posters in support (thread # 1702621) Thank you all! GGG will implement a different method for ascension in PoE2. Retired!
