losing interest fast...

Grinding Gear Games... i get it. it's a grindy game. but with the recent nerfs, the constant grinding for little reward is getting to be too much. i'm not asking for an easy game. but when you put in hour after hour, day after day, with little to no progress, it gets boring real fast. cruising through T16 maps one after another with no issue and go to a lower tier map and get 1 shotted because of lag/stutter/fps drops/broken texture streaming/etc from poor game coding and losing 10%xp is sickening to say the least.

one player mentioned that you must build meta to see endgame. well, if that is what you have to do, build what the streamers build, while not getting the same gameplay when streamers get things normal players can't. what's the point? this is not a dictatorship. it's an ARPG with choices. if you want streamers to have something normal players can't... give them beta tests to stream in the last couple of weeks or month for players to see the new content. then, when the new league starts... put it out with an even playing field instead of priority queue or special treatment. the beta should also only be ssf so no party or trading as well as no items or characters retained. this way, streamers can promote your product in a better way as well as test new league builds.

when i chose the build i'm using, i picked it because i like it and mainly so because of the weapon. i like axes and i think it looks awesome

no, it's not the best in the game but it's the best in my opinion. but wait... i have to build meta to see endgame... foolish idea that some people have. so, this game should only have 10-15 weapon/gear sets so everyone can only build meta.

many people will ask the same question. it's easier to just answer with a meaningful response like giving a link to a post with the answer. it's called a forum for a reason. GGG put it online so should also use it. there are many issues with this forum software as well. i've worked with forum software since 2009 creating styles and plugins and see many flaws as well as things to improve the user experience.

I gotta be honest, this thread and your character is really suspicious.

You are using literally 300 - 600 Exalted Orb worth of gear yet you have no idea how to build your character in terms of equipment usage and you're level 95.
Rings, boots, gloves and amulet have no life?
2C helmet?
No 21 gems but using Empower.
Etc.

I mean people who have that amount of currency normally know how these mechanics work.

The point of that level 50 common drop weapon that you have is that people can have a pseudo 6 link without linking it.
You're essentially upset that Tabula isn't carrying you at endgame.

If these forums were an ocean, this thread would be fishy.

no 21 gems... huh. seems odd that cyclone, vaal ancestral warchief, wave of conviction, immortal call, and cast when damage taken support are all 21. so you cannot see what is openly in my profile? and where am i using empower exactly???

no life in my gear. it's what i could get and afford. i also only have about 100ex invested so get your pricing somewhere else as some people don't use fixed pricing when they negotiate or got things free. i really don't care what things cost. i have what i have and don't go around saying, "look how much my stuff is worth". it's a game and item value is meaningless to me other than having to farm currency to buy them.

honestly, the build i follow https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2092338 is built solely around that axe.

now for the part that some of you don't seem to be able to understand... i'm far from being young in age and have memory issues. so sometimes i have a hard time focusing or understanding some things.

on top of that, i posted my opinion as feedback on the game and did not ask for your opinion about my character or how i spend my ingame currency. i think you should get your facts straight before attempting to jump on someone that will talk back

Not enough money to understand that you need life on all gear even though your own guide even says that while you wear items that in their making already cost tens of exalts?

You can literally just craft life on your 40 EX cost boots but you don't do that because you don't understand it.



Awakened Greater Multiple Projectiles is already 70 EX.

People don't earn that much currency without understanding so blatantly basic concepts of the game.

You should know that what you're doing is against GGG's policy which is ironic because you quote legislation for GGG what they have to do.

Just SMH, what a shame.

so, everything i have has costed currency to make. that does not mean i paid that as some things i got for free.

please help me understand what i'm doing that is against GGG policy. is it that i give my opinion or feedback? or that i get things for less than others? i never said that GGG has to do anything. all i did was talk about communication. which is something that was mentioned here https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/889671#p7594234, that clearly is not what GGG are doing.

as for life on my gear. i know it is an issue but i get what i can, when i can. sorry if i don't do things perfectly to make people like you happy.

@OP If you're having trouble surviving, you should really craft life on your boots/body armor/rings/amu instead of armor/reduced mana cost, and use lifetap support for cyclone to sustain. Your single target mostly comes from molten burst anyway, you will probably do fine with clearing even if you lose ~20% more damage from swapping it out.

Armor is kinda shit unless you stack it really high, which is not the case with your build. Also why in the world would you use immortal call instead of molten shell on a build that has a lot of armor? IC is really garbage unless you have a lot of endurance charges to spend.
