Vaal Immortal Call for Permanent Immortality in Standard - Time to fix mechanical abuse in 3.16
Okay, agree, it's not a exploit, it's an undesirable mechanic.
The whole point is, in the current state of Standard, people can make an immortal character with incredibly high dps for nearly 300ex (replica farrul's is not even needed), which outperforms by far most of the mirror-tier builds out there. With such mechanic available, what's the point of trying other builds? This is going to kill Standard economy if it's not addressed correctly. No one is asking to destroy every single build that builds around vaal skills, not at all. It's all about vaal IC. |

" Maybe exploit is a polarizing word becuase people tend to understand or associate different things with it like hacks or something. Its an unintended abuse of game mechanics which for me in Path of Exile is equivalent of an exploit. I remember Chris Wilson saying in one of the recent Podcasts that the GGG wants to remove unintended mechanics. And it was said in the past that immortality is not intended in Path of Exile at all. We can just hope 3.16 will show consistency with Vaal Immortal Call so it gets reworked to no longer be able to provide permanent immortality. Last edited by zzang#1847 on Oct 10, 2021, 6:50:41 AM
