3.14 Ultimatum Performance Issues - Stuttering & Low FPS

Same issue for me. DirectX11 on Toaster.


Every spawn lags!

Ultimatum Trials, Alva Trials, Betrayal Spawns, Legions, Drox Earthslam thingys, Metamorphs add spawn,...its unplayable.
Trials too hard? No too laggy.


I wish we would get the "grace period" on join/spawn untill next action - so we have a choice to wait 5second doing nothing waiting the "Rome Total War density" to load in. From a 15sec legion timer i get 10 seconds, cause lag - wish the timer would start on first action.

Same problem here, Amd 3700x 2070 super 32 gig ram firecuda 520 ssd.
When running Vulkan my frames drop to 20-22 fps and after about a minute go back up to 90-100 fps, If i switch to DirectX i have no problems at all.

Just amazes me there is no response from Support at all. This lag is killing POE, it used to be a fun game up until a month ago, now keep dying, please fix the lag issues with the new league.

After latest patch still seeing sever lag. Tried adding the --waitforpreload but it did not help. As a recap, I have a lvl 87 character and I have not had any issues and I have been able to finish most Ultimatum challenges without dying. as of about a month ago when previous patch hit I die all the time as soon as I start a encounter it lags for 3 to 5 seconds and when lag stops I am dead.

Same issue here. GTX 1060, 16 GB RAM SSD. Unplayable. Tried everything.

same here, but i played for 6 months no problem, even upgrade my pc but then one day i started getting lag drops to 1 fps from 144 when i use movement spell or start ultimatum and when there are lots of mobs, makes no sense, when it happend to me there had been no update from poe or on my pc just happend. fine one day shit day after

Could be running in 32-bit due to administrator rights. Check task manager and see if you are at (32-bit). If you are then disable PoE with administrator rights and it should play in 64-bit. A major fix for me was updating my C++ Runtime 2015-2019 Redistributables. I think a LOT of people have it updated, but the fucked up thing is, you need 32-bit version as well. Soon as I installed 32-bit version on top of my 64-bit, everything was smooth. I can run Ultimatums smooth and my PC is a fucking GTX 960M with i7-6700HQ. Yeah. Low graphics, Nvidia control panel optimized well, and runtime working PROPERLY.
