I never liked Whirlclone but Sawblade was one of those early-ish mtxes that divided GGG's skillset from one era to the next. It blew every other skill mtx at the time out of the water.
If I like a game, it'll either be amazing later or awful forever. There's no in-between.

edit: Okay it could really mean a number of things, I guess. Someone has misspoken. Someone is having a bad day and wishes to express their discomfort my lashing out. Someone used a bad translation into English. Someone didn't read and jumped to false conclusions. Someone is trolling. Someone is deluded. As someone who is face fronting the game as his job, that behavior was quite a bit over the top. This was also while he was being paid from that pile of money by GGG, so in essence, he was working for them. How many folks would still have a job at that point? I don’t care if anyone thinks he was/could have been justified - it just doesn’t work in a customer based position. |

There are legitimate times where you can act that way and it may be accepted, but this certainly isnt one of them. This isnt something where you should pretend to be unapologetic, edgy, and mocking. That certainly isnt a "good face" for the community. 10k~ players who thought their voice mattered and felt like they might have an impact on deciding something with the community was quite literally taken from them. Many people who dont engage often in the community will probably look back at this and see that other sub communities (which arent really fully related to the game, FB is what actually was) within the gaming community matter more important than the large majority of others in it, choose to no longer engage in it. On top of that, GGG loses a substantial sum of potential money by comparison. Its basically a shit show turned into a clown circus, i doubt GGG will address this in a way people can agree on either (if at all, something tells me they wont).

Monetarily, if i remember right, only around 1800~ or soo votes were for Sharknado legitimately before the poll rigging. So lets just assume FBS actually buy it, vote was spoiled by like 4k in total. The newer MTX are 135 for the latest cyclones so thats probably what theyd sell it for.
6,000x13.5= $81,000 Now what is the 10k people bought it, because it wasnt about they liked it was about buying what the community decided on. 10,000x13.5 - 135,000 So in a hypothetical world assuming all the people who rigged it actually bought it, it would net them $81k. As well as the other 10k earning them $135k. Hypothetically speaking of course, if all 10k would have bought it and refuse to buy what wins now out of principle, GGG lost a potential $54,000. This is also not hypothetically speaking of the ideal world where, it wasnt rigged and everyone bought what won. Which could have been $216,000. That would have been the ideal, everyone who engaged wants to be part of the community and support it whether what they like won or not. Im in that party where i wouldve bought whatever won, even if i didnt like it personally so long as the integrity of the polls was kept.
