'Blood armor' kinda implies that your life would be converted to armor rather than the other way around. Also like other people said, getting 500-1k life from brass dome would be a bit too op given the other stats on that chest already. Maybe 3-5% at most.

2k life might be too much but on the other hand, that 2k value cannot be scaled further if implemented correctly
truth be told, POE has quite a few similar mechanics already, with far larger values - Soul Tether - Trickster's EV->ES - various mana->ES mechanics - the MoM itself - Corrupted Soul while 'technically' true, the 'ES is worth less than Life point per point' it is factually bollocks. that era is long gone with various way of efficient ES leech and re(gain/charge/cover) making hybrid builds rather bonkers underlying problem is: Armour is useless. the only way people SERIOUSLY use it is AR + Transcedence. AR scaling is 10 years old. it did not age well, at all. and then there is this gem: what is the best source of AR? the answer is MANA. it is beyond dumb that your gear actually provides you pretty much just the 'white value' of AR, because out of all prefixes on your gear %AR/+AR are the least useful. +120 HP/9% life/explody or +450 AR? seriously? and without actually rolling your gear for armour your flask gives you more.. fix AR first. the itemization is dated, the mana->AR is dumb and the entire formula maybe used to be good in 1.3 - 2.0 era. definitely not today |

mhh, maybe every item with armor should have new implicit added?
like, "x% of this item armour value is added to aegis" this aegis would work like elementalist aegis with maybe 50% damage bypass just for all damage types. Also additional aegis hp recovery could be executed with granite flask and with endurance charges in some way. there could also be notables in passive tree associated with it. Cool Idea.
Might need to work in reverse though because of the scaling, you can get so much more armor than HP. If it were "Gain ___% of Max HP as extra Armor" It would be more easily balanced (I would Imagine). Cool idea though. +1 Also, isn't there a cap to max armor? not sure juggernaut needs more defence but if i was to add something it would be a notable that makes armor usefull without being forced into Transcedence.
alternative a keystone that buff defensive auras like: vitality olso adds extra bonus if used on life or mana, When reserving mana a 15% of its mana reservation is added as maximum life to you, When using life gain 1% increaced effect of non curse auras from your skills every 80 life reserved by vitality that being said i rather give juggernaut some offensive keystones based on armor heavy weight: strike skills gain 1% more damage every 3000 armor, strike skill have 1% reduced attack speed every 3000 armor self found league fan

There is a cap similar to delve depth that's caused by technical limitations but it's so high you won't reach it normally. There was a reddit topic about that a few months ago where they ended up with don't know how much armor. Was absurdly high though.
