So, I decided to give Last Epoch a try...

I like the flasks in LE. You cannot spam them, so you ghave to use them tactically. Also they are useful against bosses & not run dried after 20 sec waiting for adds to fill up again.

I like how buff icons in LE show on bottom line where skills/health/mana are so it is possible to see them actually. Also you can see fighting creeps and when to dodge, it is not like in poe open blitz-minimap and screen loook like graphic card is dying you don't realize anything just flask piano and concentrate on minimap. Buy stash tabs for in-game gold....
Looks refreshing, less stesfull and more enjoyable like games should be.

Am not saying it is overall better game then PoE it is probably not, but have some QoL things and it is very good game with bright future.

How you would like games to be for YOU. And I don't disagree that I also like the pace of LE compared to PoE.
However, a lot of players like PoE the way it is. Game mechanics that are not breachlike are usually disliked by quite a few people.
That is OK. Different people like different games.
I do like PoE, but usually only until I've gotten to yellow maps. Then I either start a new character or stop and play something else. Be it another arpg like LE or Wolcen (need to give that one another chance) or Factorio, No Man's Sky... something.

A lot of PoE players won't be able to stand LE simply because the developers have deliberately chosen to discourage one-button builds. And that's the kind of playstyle that it seems a lot of the PoE playerbase prefers. That said, I think it's a good decision on their part as it really helps to set their game apart.

I have only 1 char in last epoch, it is not a caster and it doesn't use basic manacost less skills, even from the campain you come across different mechanics that give you infinite sustain and it doesn't involves big tradeoffs either.

In all my years here I've never seen anyone claim the game has no negative aspects. They simply disagree on what its negative aspects are - to the extent that some people's negatives are other people's positives. And whenever that happens, the side that's complaining likes to pretend that their opponents see no negatives in the game. That's rarely, if ever, the case.

GGG stance is a bit similar johnatan said they wanted to push multi skill builds more heavily especially toward poe 2 with the gem rework but don't want the one button build to be gone.

Anyway for Sc trade league you'll always have enought ressources and option to automate most part of your build even if it's suboptimal in term of effiency players will do it anyway for the feeling

While failing at what he tried may seem obvious to you, keep in mind that in PoE it's very much possible to build to sustain even the most mana hungry of skills (short of archmage shenanigans) indefinitely (not counting cooldowns of course).

I dont think a one button build exists if you want to have success. Even cyclone.

1 for speed
2 for life
3 4 and 5 are utility


I've miss flasked before and just straight up got one shotted many times. like accidently hit 2 life intsead of 3 which is usually my warding on a double curse map

Flask of exile was a meme for awhile because player are so dependent on them

That said many builds are at least two strokes all the time like mines, BFBB, DD etc
