Who will benefit greatly from GGG missed opportunities?

Stock indicate nothing on the quality of games and their adoption. Games are complex products that do not cope well with funding. You can make big titles that sell, but games that bank on player retention and long lasting titles do not apply to those rules. You can make a PoE slayer just throwing money at it, you can make a CoD, a Fifa etc but not a mechanically complex game like PoE.

Tencent has taken the stance in the past of beeing the money valves of company and giving them objective milestone while letting them craft their title. It more or less works, because even if it is not fully invasive, it is still a parasite.

Rito in the other hands is about branding more than content and it doesn't work that well, they are snowballing hard like acti blizzard has been doing in the last 10-20 years. It bite them soon enough, you can't ponzify this industry indefinitely.

Stock markets are an anthropy accelerator :)
If really Riot is starting to work on AAA MMORPG, then maybe we will have something to test in... 5 years? Imagine MMO full of LoL players - must be fun :D
Biggest compliments for my crafted items - "bs, they must have been RMT'ed"

I'm disabled, I have rare case of semperduravera, so I can write things that may look rude, but it is because of disability - I'm forced to tell truth using words you may not like.
Blizzard mostly, unless of course they screw up another title. Which is possible lol.
The nerfs will continue until morale improves.
Lol the OP didnt know Tencent owns Riot. I mean its only been 10 years!

Haha! Well at least I got a chuckle from GD today.

Sorry, I'm not in my mid 20s or teen years to be into MOBA's like League of Legends. I've never played MOBA's and I intend that to remain. If anything this further makes sense why Riot is owned by Tencent.

If you make up facts about Tencent or GGG you better know the facts or show the slightest amount of understanding of stocks, the market and the industry in general. [Removed by Support]

And no, I am not here to educate you on things you could easily look up yourself.
The opposite of knowledge is not illiteracy, but the illusion of knowledge.

@ArtCrusade just stop, sentences like this is why education is essential...

"If you make up facts about Tencent or GGG you better know the facts"

[Removed by Support] In my thread as well as the posts above there is only one fact and the rest is opinion. So, exactly which "fact" you're trying to make an argument about?

When it comes to stocks and markets I surely understand it way better, but again each their own. You are welcome here to say to anyone they don't know anything they're talking about and then stop at there. Sadly, that's not going to trigger me, because only that demonstrates further how much you can argue about something.

Me either. I'm a middle-aged man with the ability to be aware of large business transactions, acquisitions, and mergers, especially the areas I'm interested in.

Given your post history, and dedication to gaming, I would have expected you to be more informed. Guess not.

But you're all about "making money" on your gaming and being a "pro". MOBA should be your first choice.

If I could buy time with $ I would be a billionaire by now. I never went into gaming for the primary purpose to earn $. Sadly, with my past and vast gaming EXP with the options I had available in 2009 and beyond no way I would be spending my most precious resource, my time on MOBA's. So, it doesn't surprise me if others here know more about that genre. MOBA's are the last genre I would play, especially from the current ones available.

MOBA's are also on the decline and Tencent knows it as their MOBA audience is maturing to see that they can get better out of this industry, which explains their will to expand, especially when one of their once successful companies like GGG aren't performing to the level they would prefer.

The biggest and most important decision most will have to make soon is which next product they're going to support, and I hope there will be a mutual agreement, something that truly separates from the rest so it can become even greater.
