Who will benefit greatly from GGG missed opportunities?

Following your "logic", Blizzard Activision lost 10% stock value in this month, so maybe it is because GGG nerfed Harvest and people are quitting diablo for PoE? /s
Oh, did you know that Tencent also have 5% of Blizzard and 5% of Ubisoft?

Not really, no. Most people actually have a life, and the few bucks spent on this video game vs that video game does not even feature in the double digits of places on their priority list.

But then, you also think that PoE can affect tencent's stock price, so I guess it's clear where your take on things falls in the spectrum of reality.

You don't see big moves happening unless somebody has fallen, and just over the past month I've seen some big moves being done within this industry like Riot hiring for AAA MMORPG.

Over the last week Tencent stock (shares) have fallen from 680 to 624 HKD, and what's worse it's how two weeks ago Tencent was sitting at 723 HKD, big moves are indeed being done, where you have the biggest winners and losers.

Stocks (shares) reveal the best and most accurate indication, and it's not just Riot wanting to take on this opportunity GGG has opened.

Yeah, that makes a lot of sense. Tencent stocks are falling because Riot Games is taking away things from Grind Gear Games, which is owned (80%) by Tencent. So Riot Games stock should be going up, and GGG stock should be going down. In turn, Tencent stock should be going down.

Only problem with that theory: GGG is very small in terms of what Tencent owns, having 105 employees. Tencent owns multiple companies with 1000+ employees.

One of them (2500 employees): Riot Games. Owned 100% by Tencent.

Seriously, do your homework before posting stuff like this.

Dispite what some people think. PoE is still a niche game. The one time PoE got Sustainal gaming media coverage was the savlage box feasco.

Riot games is a much bigger company & with tens of millions of playerbases. I can be sure when they decide to make an MMO, they ARE NOT thinking about PoE with 5-low 6 figures concurrent players.

PoE is a great game & deserve the love ( & hate) it is getting, but people need to stop thinking PoE to be spoken in same breathe as Fortnite or LoL.

Neither niche nor popular. I prefer the word Ordinary.
