Since the last patch (3.13.1c) I get disconnected from the game at a rate that makes it unplayable. Error messages are something like:
`Abnormal disconnect: An unexpected disconnection occurred.`
or `Error: Failed to join instance because: Disconnected from server.`
After the disconnects any open portals are destroyed. I tried to play on the Frankfurt, Amsterdam, London and Milan servers, all with the same problems. Wired connection, latest patches for Windows and GPU, have reinstalled the game.
Is there a way to fix this?

* production_Config: https://pastebin.com/CTDA81ab
* WinMTRs to instance server: https://pastebin.com/9wfvxdMW
* WinMTR to login server: https://pastebin.com/g9h1CrdA

Hiya,
Just to check, are you able to provide a little more information for us such as the following:
Wireless: Please ensure that you are using Ethernet (wired) connection. Wireless will sometimes lack the capacity to keep up with the demands of PoE.
Network Use: Please check that there are no other programs running in the background (such as Utorrent or Pando Media Booster) that could be affecting the connection. Resource monitor can be used to check. Also check that no one else on your connection is uploading data.
Firewalls: Test the game with firewalls/antivirus turned off briefly (most will be okay, but some types can be very picky)
Gateway: Please reset the router or try different gateways (on the Path of Exile login screen).
Location: If you are in a dorm, work or educational facility, or some other kind of communal network arrangement - in these cases the server admin might have the ports filtered

Thank you for your reply.
* Wireless: No; it's a wired connection.
* Network Use: No other program is using much of the network.
* Firewalls: No firewall or anti virus software is running.
* Gateway: Router has been restarted. PoE gateways tested are: Amsterdam, Frankfurt, London and Milan.
* Location: Single user internet connection.
Though I am not sure how my local network structure could affect the PoE (instance) servers.

It doesn't the support reply you got was a copy paste, they know the servers are unstable and , they don't know what its going to take to fix them if they can , which up to this point is looking like a server restart / roll back of patch 13.3.1c again.

In this case would you please provide us with a WinMTR report, as this will provide us with some details about the connection between your PC and our servers, and can help pinpoint any potential issues.
You can find a guide to doing the test here: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1377789
Please make sure to run WinMTR while you are experiencing issues in-game, as this will provide us with the most accurate data. Also, please ensure that you run the WinMTR for 300-500 packets (about 5-8 minutes) so that we can get a full picture of what is happening.

Thanks for your reply. I was trying to record a MTR report. However, since about 2 days I rarely get disconnected from the server, but my game is crashing constantly instead. I'm not sure if those two things are somehow connected. But since the release of 3.13.1c the game isn't fun to play. I had almost no crashes or disconnects before this patch.
These crashes are happening much more often in high density encounters (e.g. legion) but can also occur with few to no enemies around (e.g. lab).

well you can start by providing a WinMTR report to the PoE login server you use. Remember 300+ packets as minimum.

GGG this hasnt stopped. PLease dont be those people and ask us if it is on our side.... it never is. I am crashing and disconnecting from the server about 10 times every 15mins.... IT IS NOT ON MY SIDE.
I was playing just fine on my expensive gaming PC at home, went to work today, came home and this is happening. Sort this out asap. THIS IS UNPLAYABLE

Below are two reports. As requested, both to the login server (not the instance server). Server used: fra01.login.pathofexile.com
* No crash: https://pastebin.com/E9Mk94uH
* Crash occurred during the recording: https://pastebin.com/g9h1CrdA

hmm those looks perfectly fine.
Now please try from an instance ip like a map. You can get the instance IP from the client.txt file. Start the WinMTR when you enter the map and leave it running while you play.
