My first POE account ever, was banned after only 3 days of playing, why?

Day 8... Honored to be a winner of "February's blind random ban" lottery.
In case the developers do not care about this practice, because they consider the majority of players to be "freeloaders" here, I actually was going to donate to the project. But not after this level of absurd now. |

From what I gather, companies who practice automated scripted bans on their projects are usually aware, that this can result in false positives, and at least try to be quick with review and prioritize of ban appeals, based on mathematical probability of the false positive for a given accusation type. On the other hand, guys who do not have much human resources to manage their large user community, tend to be more careful with placing bans in the first place. The only way I can explain what happened to me, is that here, it is both: they auto-ban and they don't really care about it. |

My 4 alternate accounts got banned for "Breach of terms of use". I assume that for some reason POE seems to think that my alts are doing RMT when they trade stuffs back to me.
is it now a rule where you cannot trade between characters? |

i have a total of 4 pcs 2 on each of the alts, and 1 for my main character which i use. the problem with the appeal process is that there is no one to reach out to to get information or on what supporting they require.
It seems that the only way to get their attention is to post on forums to make enough noise. |
