Last Epoch is better than POE.

PoE's story was organized and easy to follow too. A decade ago. Some shit has been added a few times since then.

LE has awhile to go before it even reaches POE level and by then POE2 will already be established.

You guys whining about 3 year early access do know poe went into alpha in 2010 and was released as a bug riddled mess in 2013 right?
And its still a bug riddled mess now, try hitting alt on a juiced map.

I thought 1.0 was 2014. Thats when I joined. I remember D3 cancelled AH and I cashed out to paypal and came here and bought a pack with that monies and never looked back. So really 4 years of alpha.

I always heard about it though on D3 forums, but like last epoch, refuse to try it until really released. I don't need to be a beta tester. Come with it I'll try it.

Been playing LE between leagues and I'm already done with it for now... all skills feel like hot garbage except melee (and I don't like melee). Minion AI is the worst I've seen in an ARPG. I like the skill/passive system though so I'll keep an eye on it and see if it gets better.
The big thing that Last Epoch offers that the competitors don't is build making.

Realistically PoE's skill tree is massive but it's basically empty of interesting choices, and support gems are not skill customization but damage optimization. The whole giant tons of choices mostly collapses once you have some idea of what you're doing.

The traditional style skill tree in Last Epoch gives you meaningful choice and not fluff, and the skill skill trees give you meaningful customization to your skills. The combat in LE is a tad slower than PoE but also it's not running around exploding the screen constantly. The boss fights feel infinitely better than PoE's ever really have they're tactical and involve dodging, but also don't require you to watch a youtube video of how it works first.

LE is going to be a competitor it's certainly the best at what it wants to be doing, but so is PoE, and so is Diablo. It really depends on what you want out of an ARPG, but for the people who were initially drawn to PoE for the skill trees and skill customization I would say check it out.

Thats exactly why I dont be a beta boy. Some stories i heard here were terrible and too short woulda ruined my experience if i tried it. Even release while campaign was good, had no end game and I was like WTF over. I know they need cash and better to use other people money than your own for your business plan but not mine until ready. Then they can have a lot if good.

wanna bet u can make more builds with poe than with LE?
3.26 when?
Don't abandon us. don't turn your backs on the ones loving poe.
I'll buy it when it launches and continue to support it if they keep improving.

I'm definitely looking for something a lot less bloated than POE, but not nearly as dumbed down as D3. Grim Dawn is too clunky with a dated engine and graphics.
I hope everyone manages to find that special unicorn that meets all of your needs and desires....The game that falls into your particular Goldilocks zone of happy gaming.

Happy hunting.
Thanks for all the fish!
