Yes Last Epoch has some ideas but :
- No multiplayer
- Animations are garbage, really garbage, almost funny
- Sounds are (at best) average (PoE too, I know)
- Nothing to do in endgame

I like this game too, but let's be honest here. It is not better than PoE in it's state. Maybe later with some work in it. But hey let the game some time and I'm sure it will a better game than now, it has some serious potential.

Doing some advertisement for it is cool but being delusional is not and deserving it a bit.

Yes Path of Exile has some ideas but:

- performance goes downhill with every league
- it's unbalanced as hell
- you need many 3rd party tools and websites to understand anything
- trading is annoying and tedious and time consuming
- many mechanics are outdated and dont get any updates
- loot/equipment drops are meaningless and inflated
- screen clutter is a mess
- to many bad on death effects and one shots to kill you on purpose
- desync and losing invested currency for maps and all that good stuff
- bad boss mechanics, looking at you sirus and maven memory game
- toxic playerbase and full of scammers (which ggg is okay with)
- no death log
- game gets turned more and more into a power creep zoom zoom gameplay
- to much clicking
- loot boxes
- minor p2w mechanics
- and so on...


i am sure i could write more stuff but you get the point. there really is no better, both had their problems, but the problems of path of exile stack up 100 times for then the ones last epoch has at the moment. So i am with op here. Last Epoch is for me at least a better game at the moment and i love their balance and QoL features that path of exile in the next 10 years will not have.
