yes and i mainly use spectres to give buffs

its stupid that even with meat shield they are out of deadly spells but getting insta gibbed

This is exactly it 100%. People went glass cannon spectres are now learning that minion hp/resists are a thing. I dont even use the crabbies, and I very rarely, if at all, lose a spectre.

But please continue to complain about it everyone. It makes my gear purchases cheaper.

yeah, nerfs have made some of spectres useless, but you can use other that are fine. Just because your spectres die, doesnt mean that the spectres are dead. Adapt little bit to new patch, use nods in passive tree that will make them stronger, or copy someone else's spectre build with spectres that can survive. There are builds, and youtube videos with ONLY spectres clearing t8 sirus with no problem. And the build is not so expensive.

yes i think problem is within my build

i dont invest alot into spectres HP, just for cluster dmg and 1 percent summon regen
as elem your screwed with spectres. They are nerved a bit to hard for non necro's. My spectres in golem build die way to often now.

you play necro m8 like I already stated you'r screwed as elementalist. Cant make a propper golem build if you need to put a bunch point in spectre nodes. Has nothing to do with glass canon.
Spectre gem at lvl 20 is now monster level 72, which is T5.
At gem level 25 ,which should be the average level for non-necros, it is level 77. Which is T10.

Necro would get lvl 27 with moderate investment which is spectre-monster level 79. Which is T12.

In the current state spectres are barely viable as support minions considering how little HP the frenzy monkeys have, even when you support them with minion-life + meat shield.

Slave drivers or other low-HP damage spectes will flap over when any high damage monster farts in the same direction your spectres came from.

It's true chieftain & host (also some others, with low base life) are
dying too often and that's with basic rare t15+ maps, not high mods, with +4 (gem 21 + 1 helmet + 2 from Necromancer ascendancy).

Playing with 4 millions dps x 4 golems. This means if you dont kill fast your spectres are probably dying even faster. At this point life support or whatever aura/bone offering is mandatory.

IMO: +30% base life is a minimum.

spectre chieftain that give you frenzy charges and power charges
are just getting 1 shotted

Makes sense.

Arena Master (Drox influence monster) has 405% base hp and both charge monkeys only 150%. They also have less armour so more prone to die to physical damage.

The usual old support spectres are indeed borderline useless with the recent HP nerfs and a solution would be to use higher HP buff spectres like Necromancers or influence based monsters.
