if you mix everything up, you would end with a necro cycloning with CoC+fortify+BV and a skill that clears nicely...when GGG created poet's pen it was even better since the trigger mechanic is better than coc with spell casters hence the long-lived meta that lasted over a year

Yea I've played with the xerphi flask version before. Until that thing was fixed. But that was way too unbalanced XD

Two things came to mind:

Flicker Strike and generically minion builds. Specifically SRS and Spectre builds.

Spectre builds are better now than then, but they were effective then as well. SRS was better then, but still fine now. Flicker Strike has improved with the availability of ways to maintain but largely untouched otherwise.

I've tried flicker once but that was a long time ago. Had some issues with desync. But I totally agree, you can't go wrong with minion builds.

Edit: dude you're right I just noticed! What did they do to cyclone? it was desyncing a lot back then?! especially if you link it with multistrike

Yeah, it was really bad. Especially in places like the Sceptre of the God or Museum/Academy maps. You were often not even in the same room you thought you were, just cycloning against a wall.

It was funny in party play.

I really have gotten back to PoE like last year and didn't even notice this cyclone change. Dude this was like the OG build with BoR back in the day. Kinda tempted to go for cyclone now next league hahaha not gonna lie

why is this guy not getting banned for RMT? i had a friend who got banned for
"trade macro" which is supposedly fine, and then this guy can flaunt his RMT behavior???

Funny. If someone played a long time ago, you don't need to RMT. A lot of those legacy items are worth a fortune.

I have two Eternal Orbs which are apparently worth 5480 Chaos Orbs each right now alone. I wonder what the legacy Aegis Auroras are worth. I have a ton of those.

Anyway, seeing something on Standard and making a leap to RMT is pretty rough because of how long Standard has been there.

EDIT: The range for those orbs is 550-750 Exalted orbs on trade. Not sure what to trust between that and POE.ninja. Either way, the point is made.

Because the OP has nice things? Delirium was very easy to build currency in and level 93 is a pretty common place to park since the 10% death penalty. The OP could have been at level 93 for weeks/months playing Delirium and that would be more than believable.

That doesn't seem like solid ground you're standing on if that is all there is to go off of.

Yeah. Trade Macro. Thing that 99% of PoE playerbase uses. But only your friend got banned for it. How sad.
