Ok cyberpunk is not that good, so can we launch the next league?
" Ok, so i have like 4-5k hours into PoE, and everytime i play a new league - there's only a few crashes AT FIRST 1HOUR into the game And then.. there's literally 0 issues So i never understood those who say "1-2 months to make it stable" [Removed by Support] Last edited by JC_GGG#0000 on Dec 10, 2020, 11:28:29 AM

PoE has always had trouble with machines that are "diverse". They don't have the testing labs of a major company. They put out a product that works on their model machine, and if you're pretty close to that you don't have any trouble. Then the spend "the next month or two" (tm) working on making it work for as many other builds as they can.

" 1. Shadowlands is the fastest selling pc game ever. So too bad for you. 2. What a coincidence. Poe is also a single player game. |

I had a feeling good ol Cyberpunk would be a poor re-skin of Deus Ex. Companies are becoming experts at creating the hype and delivering lots of disappointment. I stayed away from the pre order and have decided to put my money into Immortals Fenyx Rising. Looks a lot more fun and rewarding for my time spent exploring a digital world.

Nah... Deus Ex was on rails. Cyberpunk is a lot closer to Skyrim than to Deus Ex.

" i've watched several hours of the game and literally zero streamer that i've tuned into (several at once even) has had any type of open world experience yet. i don't think enough ppl are far enough into the game to experience it. it took empyrian 8 hours to get through the tutorial i'd rather replay games like deus ex, borderlands, far cry and maybe even skyrim than spend full price for another buggy mess with performance issues. bugs aside. any time you do more watching than playing im out. if ppl enjoy those "games" more power to them, but i don't even consider them games lol so far thats all i've seen of cyberpunk. maybe the gameplay comes later, but i've seen enough to never look again. " ya this is more about the audience than the companies. the gaming industry has been doing this for at least the past 10 years. they hype and promise and give crazy teasers etc then they release an unfinished DLC paywall ridden buggy slop of a product. and what happens? people beg for more gamers are worse than drug addicts just begging for their fix, they don't care the cost or how good the stuff is. pump it straight into my veins!!! |

" I suppose purchasing a legacy IP that has a lot of nostalgia and history behind it just to make a cheap crappy cash grab game is something that some publishers might do, but I think CD Projekt Red has earned a little more trust than that. As for the OP unpacking all the dumb you crammed into one sentence is giving me a headache. So instead I'm just going to stick to the 2 main points: - first Cyberpunk came out literally today so calling a value judgment like that premature is a huge understatement - second you don't just move up the release date of any software project. I know they said they would use the extra time to work on 3.14, but if you think they are done with 3.13 now then you are living in a fantasy. |

" I haven't played Cyberpunk, yet Skyrim was a great game. In fact, it was my first PS3 game upon buying the console and despite having memory shortage issues later on with big save files, I still think it was one of the most memorable game in terms of lore and atmosphere. Those falmer underground cities still send shivers to my spine. |

" Its not a poor reskin or anything. it is just buggy and a little unfinished. That is the main take way. This is the exact same primary criticism poe has had for what the last year? two years worth of league content? hell that is the main criticism most AAA games have these days. so writing cyberpunk off that easily makes it sounds like you were never really interested in it in the first place. That is fine i suppose. but do you really need to bash a game you technically haven't played? I don't think that band wagon needs more musicians specially since its almost trendy at this point. " perhaps "stable" is not the best word to describe it. But it is a concrete fact that pretty much every league in recent memory has gone through what can only be considered a post launch beta phase where they are still actively making changes to either nonfunctioning or wrongly functioning systems. As for Heist. How many times did they have to "fix" that whole alarm system I wonder... I think, personally, you are too close to the game to look at this criticism objectively anyway.
