Is 3.13 realy delayed only because Cyberpunk ?
" GGG has stopped being "a small independent movie studio" a long time ago. Stop treating them as a garage indie studio who needs a free pass, because they are not such a thing anymore. GGG is a big company with a big amount of money now, especially after Tencent buyout. That being said, I understand why they are delaying. CP is one of the most hyped games, and it is a big danger for many games, not only time-sensitive as PoE. If they will use this month productive (like some QA, or better content, or fixing moronic stuff like Atlas reset) I have no problems "War's over, soldier. You just don't know it yet. Everybody lost."

It must have been a compound decision. The first thing that came to mind was this nasty 2020. The toll hit about everyone and every business. GGG has had challenging leagues and it's not to hard to figure that some restful time is much needed. While this break is currently not to our benefit, it is probably the most useful to us in a tactical sense.
You see it's not just revitalizing time, it's also backlog and cleanup time. If you're after those QoL features and stable releases, this is the kind of margin you want them to have, especially now. With GGG's record of pushing content you can bet on this delay being the only option and well, blaming Cyberpunk is solid enough. Do we really need to be carried into specifics? Also, I have it from good source that with every little bit of understanding towards each other for hard work in this time, we punch a tiny little Corona in the face. Did you try turning it off and on again?

The best part of this delay will be when we finally get 3.13, after 1 month longer than usuall, and it still will be full of bugs and 2-3 weeks of the league will be pretty much alpha tests.
Just the usual. |

" .... you already know the answer why are you throwing yourself false hopes? it's going to be the usual "record on player peak bla bla bla" and the league will lack rewards + other things that can get easily fixed with feedback from QA. "Parade your victories, hide your defeats. Mortals are so insecure."
Once you break the cycle of fear no angels or demons can whisper you their sweet nothing words. poe0.2/10. Nuff said. |

" Literally in 5k hours i never encountered any bugs that fuck up my fun and game Probably it's you, not the game |

" lol did you not play heist??? |

" i have probably 10-12k hours in this game and i barely ever crash. in heist i've crashed twice, and they were both AFTER all the fixes that were supposed to fix all the crashes (like one month into the event) but i also hate heist mechanics and do not interact with it almost at all, let alone constantly. so that could be a potential reason why i've avoided some bugs/crashes as well. but yeah no release affects me hardly at all either. i never crash. i never bug. dunno why. its interesting to see the contrasts. same game, same files, such different experiences. its interesting |

" -- Chris is known to be very exact in his wording. This is why many of us took him at his word and questioned delaying strictly because of Cyberpunk. He didn't come out and say that they needed an extra month of polish/testing for 3.12 - I don't think he has ever said it in any post. I still do not understand why Chris wouldn't have just said what the players by this time are perfectly clear about - that the compressed development time coupled with Covid has wrecked havoc on GGG and they need a month to catch up. I doubt that they would have got any pushback if Chris had just said this. |

" Depends on who else is watching. If I like a game, it'll either be amazing later or awful forever. There's no in-between.
I am Path of Exile's biggest whale. Period. |
